LOL. Biden doesn't know what his name is. It takes all his severely limited mental focus to listen and repeat what he hears in his earpiece while simultaneously not pooping his pants, and he fails at that pretty often. Just ask the pope.

Did you see the video a few weeks back of Obama schmoozing the room at the White House while Biden tried in vain to get his (or anyone's) attention before standing looking vacantly at a curtain? Probably not as the fake news obviously wouldn't run it, so here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EALnb5cUAsI.

I'll say one thing for Obama: he is quite charismatic. Back in 2008, before social / alt media and youtube were really a thing, the mainstream media was all that most people saw, and they were absolutely gushing in their praise and promotion of Obama. The fawning interviews, the scanning shots showing huge crowds at Obama rallies (funnily enough they kept their cameras fixed entirely on Trump during his rallies, which were even bigger than Obama's), combined with Obama's own charisma and fluency created a genuine sense of excitement, anticipation, and indeed inspiration. Plus the fact that there was very little opposition media to counter Obama's falsehoods. Which garnered him 69 million votes.

And now we are supposed to believe that Sleepy Joe Biden, who has never inspired anyone to do anything other than leave the room, who spent the entire 2020 campaign locked in the basement failing to understand how Zoom worked, and who faced serious opposition from non-fake news sources that Obama didn't have to contend with, got 81 million votes? 12 million more Americans voted for him than voted for Obama in that historic 2008 election?

    LOL.

Creating a false dialogue to blame and create anger at leftists.

The policies you mention. Unfotunately I do not know many people at all who are for open borders. Left or right. And the other policies. Well, there is a wide range there. I am not sure if they would be left or right wing policies. BUt I do get your last comment, about wanting to marginalise and oppress minorities. It is a common theme when one's own policy preferences lead to outcomes that are self-defeating, to look to strike out and blame the innocent minorities. So an example. Right wingers want free trade, lower state interference. That leads to replacing replacing higher paid labour with cheap foriegn labour. So then they decide they no longer want free trade, now they want protection from immigrants. They look back to "the golden years" when free migration allowed their ancestors an opportunity at a better life, when they could exploit and oppress other minorities of that time. But now they want to change the laws again and deny others those same opportunities.
You really don't know who Ted Kennedy was? That indicates you're not very knowledgeable or well-educated, and perhaps unqualified for these kind of debates.

But to answer your post, you say "I do not know many people who are for open borders, left or right". Well exactly!

Hardly any Americans want open borders, but the leftist govt / media leadership (and to be fair, many RINOs as well, who are perhaps an even greater problem than the leftists) does, for a variety of reasons (cheap labor, undermine solidarity among (and unltimately replace) heritage Americans, become a permanent dependent underclass allowing the deep state to grow, etc).

So you have a situation where the likes of Sleepy Joe, Heels Up Harris, Cryin' Chuck Schumer, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, plus various fake news "journalists" will look directly into the camera and lie that the border is secure, when they know full well it is wide open and useless, low IQ turd world refuse with no skills or even English language, are streaming across by the millions into a life of welfare handouts, govt-provided legal aid, and anchor babies.

(And they really are garbage: the only people that want to make the dangerous illegal trek north are the worthless underclass who are too stupid and generally useless to get along in their own countries. It is not middle class Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Somalians, whoever, that are coming. It is high school dropouts, criminals, gang members. So if the average IQ of a 3rd world country is, say, 85, the average IQ of the illegals from that country will be significantly lower.

As a great man once said: "They're not sending their best".).

But I digress. You go on: "So an example. Right wingers want free trade, lower state interference. That leads to replacing replacing higher paid labour with cheap foriegn (sic) labour. " Let me stop you right there!

We do indeed want free trade and lower state interference. We do not want mass immigration. There is plenty of labor in America. If there is a shortage, supply and demand will increase wages to the point that there is no longer a shortage. Ordinary Americans will therefore get to benefit materially from the gains of free trade, not just the owners.

That is the model that American followed for most of the 20th Century, when it was at its greatest and wealthiest.

Regarding immigration: a little known fact is that one third of the immigrants who came to America in the 19th Century ended up returning home. That is because there was no welfare state. It was sink or swim, and many sank. Then in the early 20th Century, America ended immigration, and there was zero until the lying traitor Ted Kennedy and his cohorts introduced the 1965 Immigration Act.

It took a few years for that to really kick in, so for the large majority of the 20th Century (America's Greatest century, in which we vastly expanded our wealth and dominated the world) there was no immigration. Not a coincidence.

Nowadays there is far more immigration, of far less capable people from countries with far lower average IQ. Furthermore, there is a vast welfare state or endless gibsmedats of various shades, which is part of the reason why we are $30 trillion in debt.

So no, we don't want "cheap labor" (aka endless welfare handouts), thanks. There never was a period of "free migration". What limited migration there was, was quite stringent, and migrants succeeded on their own or went home. Then at the start of the 20th Century, immigration was ended, and America enjoyed 70 years or enormous prosperity and success. Until the effects of the 1965 Immigration Bill (and other disasters) began to kick in.

We need to return to the successful mid-20th Century model: a stable, homogeneous, united people; free trade and very limited state interference; secure borders and a strong military to defend them. The people brought in under the false pretenses and barefaced lies of the 1965 Immigration Act, in order to engineer the Great Replacement of western people, need to go home.

P.S. The video you attached was by an openly Marxist Jewish college professor. Was it supposed to be a joke?

    https://www.aarp.org/health/conditio...-patients.html

A study published this week in The Lancet showed a high mortality rate described to the media as "horrific" by the study authors among older patients, particularly those with underlying conditions. The study itself looked at critically ill patients with a median age of 62 who were treated at two New York City hospitals in March and April. Looking at those over age 80 who were put on a ventilator, the authors found that more than 80 percent did not survive. By comparison, no patients under the age of 30 died at the two hospitals, and only a small number in that age group had to be put on ventilators.

In April, another study published in the medical journal JAMA looked at the outcomes of 5,700 patients hospitalized for COVID-19 in the New York area, finding that only 3. 3 percent of 1,151 patients who required ventilation had been discharged alive as of April 4, with almost a quarter dying and 72 percent remaining in the hospital. This is a significantly higher death rate than what's usually seen for patients put on ventilators for other reasons in the past, such as bacterial pneumonia or collapsed lungs.

And this is why you and V are so stupid. You guys claimed ventilators are good when they in fact were killing people right and left. Cuomo says that he needed 30,000 ventilators, and you just assumed they were needed. Truth is they were not needed and we wasted all that money on ventilators that were put in mothballs but hey for you dumb Dems, that was "doing something". And you both stupidly focused on oxygen like doctors did early on.

The main reason people with COVID-19 have required ventilators is that they developed a condition known as acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), inflammation in the lungs that makes it extremely difficult to breathe. But there's a specific subgroup of patients known as "happy hypoxics" who may have different needs.

These are people who show up in the emergency room with terrible oxygen levels, whose X-rays reveal severe pneumonia, but are still able to talk and whose only real complaint is some shortness of breath," she explains. For these patients, although their vital signs indicate they should be on a ventilator.

Instead, doctors now try giving these patients less invasive treatments, such as very high doses of supplemental oxygen, either through a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine, the same machine used to treat sleep apnea, or through a supercharged oxygen system known as a high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).

A paper published on April 22 in the journal Academic Emergency Medicine found that when hypoxic patients were given these types of supplemental oxygen and positioned flat on their bellies, only about a quarter ended up requiring ventilation. Kaplan says this approach not only appears to improve patient outcomes, but has also prevented the overuse of ventilators, averting the ventilator shortage physicians had originally feared.

End of link. What the article has wrong is that there were not just a "subgroup" of happy hypoxics but all patients with Covid, and putting 25% of patients of hypoxic Covid patients on a ventilator did not happen in the future as doctors got more comfortable watching these patients. Subjectively, it was when patients said they doctors considered ventilators. And objectively, elevated carbon dioxide in the blood was a marker that someone was with impending respiratory failure and was likely needed to be put on a ventilator.

Putting a hypoxic Covid patient on a ventilator solely for "pumping oxygen into the body" was committing malpractice. Period.

OTOH, if you and Viliany have low oxygen levels and Covid, by all means tell the doctors how smart you are and request to be put on a ventilator. Just tell me before hand so I can buy a life insurance policy and cash in on your demise.

I get what you are saying sounds good and makes sense, but it is totally, totally, totally wrong.
Excellent forensic rebuttal of the wacko leftists and their CNN talking points. Probably won't make a dent in their dense, indoctrinated skulls, but many others have learned something of value. Thanks.

    Uh-oh

Now the demonstrably Repub-leaning RealClearPolitics' Generic Ballot Midterm Election poll of polls shows a scant 1. 3 percentage point advantage for Repubs with a normal MoE+/- being about 3. 5 points. That's down from something like 10+ points not long ago.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...vote-7361.html

Yes, we all know Dems could have as much as a 5 percentage point lead over Repubs in these polls and still lose a few seats in Congress thanks to the extreme gerrymandering / cheating done by the Repubs and Trump's America-hating unprecedented manipulatIon of the recent census count.

Yes, we all know Repubs have spent the last 2-3 years installing America-hating, election-denying QAnon loons in state and local ballot-collecting and vote-counting positions, proudly poised to throw out and not count how ever many likely Dem ballots and Dem votes to make sure their beloved Repubs win no matter what so they can get back to their Party's primary mission to shit on America, destroy its economy and wipe out millions of jobs.

Yes, we all know with the Party not occupying the White House winning Congressional seats in 37 of the 40 midterms since the Civil War, all the Repubs need to do is sit down and STFU for the next few months and they'll probably come up "winners" this time around with no cheating, no "murderous caravan heading for our border" tales, no "CRT" nonsense, no "wokeism" junk, no fabricated "defund the police" crap, etc required.

But with Oil / Brent prices falling 15-20% in just this past month, the electorate's attention therefore shifting a bit to the aforementioned by others existential threat, clear and present danger to American Democracy posed by the Repub Party, all coincident to the tightening of those Generic Ballot Poll numbers, Repubs now might actually have to put in some rare and uncharacteristic work trying to explain just why on earth anyone not an America-hating QAnon loon should vote for them in November.

He and other leading leftists lie because they know that the majority of people do not want to be part of their vision. Open borders; mass third world immigration; homosexuals performing sex acts upon each other in public parades; child trannies; anti-white quotas and discrimination; fourth wave feminism; and "hate speech" laws.
The right, by contrast, simply wants to maintain the basic values and population that built and made America great in the first two centuries of its existence. Not much need to lie about anything, because that is what most regular people want too.

You were the person who said that the problem with COVID was low oxygen, not ventilation. Ventilators pump oxygen into the body. If the body needs oxygen (in other words, the person needs help breathing) you put them on a ventilator in order to provide more oxygen. Ventilators do not "ventilate" the body like by poking holes in it.

Now you are using recent studies to say that what doctors did two years ago was the wrong approach. Wow. Or that 80-year-old people required ventilators and lots of them died and 30-year-old people didn't require ventilators and they lived. Another classic Elvis post hoc ergo propter hoc argument. That's why you shouldn't post about anything medical. Your analysis is similar to "I ate Wheaties instead of Corn Flakes for breakfast yesterday and later in the day I wrecked by car. So Wheaties caused me to wreck my car".

The fact that doctors now know more is what science is. When you know more, you make changes to your approach. But anti-science RethugliKKKans don't see it that way because they take the "a broken clock is right twice a day" approach. Your approach is "Let's blame doctors for the approach they took two years ago because they know more now. ".

If you were smarter, you'd be Trump
