So Trump increases the SCOTUS by 4 justices in order to repeal everything great for America accomplished by the Dems and then Biden increases it by another 4 in order to clean up that disastrous mess produced by Trump, Kamala adds another 4 to better prepare us for the latter half of the 21st Century and then the next Repub increases it by another 4 in order to take the country back to pre Civil War era conditions and on and on?
Even Moscow Mitch could not see the advantage in setting that up without a Super Majority vote in Congress to support it. And there is no chance of that happening now.

Shooting sprees are routine, abortion rights have ended and Democrats could suffer big losses in the next election, they wrote.
Considering there is zero legislative fix for any of those things without more Dems in Congress, particularly the Senate, the absolute dumbest and most counterproductive message Biden could send right now is, "We, the Party that has cleaned up and fixed every horrific Republican Party disaster in history can shout and scowl America out of this disastrous Repub mess too! And we can do it even before or instead of you nice folks getting off your butts to vote for us. Yep, we're that good"!
Repubs already have 150+ years of midterm precedence on their side this year. I don't see how making voters think shouting and scowling is the fix for what ails them over actually voting into office more of the problem solvers and fewer of the problem creators will help rather than hurt the Party occupying the White House at this time right along with America in general.

But it doesn't help when Biden says nah, I'm not going to pack the court. Because packing the court is the only solution that doesn't require rewriting the Constitution. Or keep doing nothing and see what happens in November.

Unfortunately, one doesn't have to vote for Repubs. Staying home will have the same effect, and I guarantee you that a lot of independents and even some Democrats won't feel like going out.

That's the understatement of the Century.
BTW, today the RCP poll of polls' Repub advantage has dropped down to a scant 1. 3 percentage points. I am sure they are scrambling to find a Rassmussen or Trafalgar poll or two out there somewhere to add to their mix to help calm the nerves of their target Repub viewers.

Did you see the video a few weeks back of Obama schmoozing the room at the White House while Biden tried in vain to get his (or anyone's) attention before standing looking vacantly at a curtain? Probably not as the fake news obviously wouldn't run it, so here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EALnb5cUAsI.
I'll say one thing for Obama: he is quite charismatic. Back in 2008, before social / alt media and youtube were really a thing, the mainstream media was all that most people saw, and they were absolutely gushing in their praise and promotion of Obama. The fawning interviews, the scanning shots showing huge crowds at Obama rallies (funnily enough they kept their cameras fixed entirely on Trump during his rallies, which were even bigger than Obama's), combined with Obama's own charisma and fluency created a genuine sense of excitement, anticipation, and indeed inspiration. Plus the fact that there was very little opposition media to counter Obama's falsehoods. Which garnered him 69 million votes.
And now we are supposed to believe that Sleepy Joe Biden, who has never inspired anyone to do anything other than leave the room, who spent the entire 2020 campaign locked in the basement failing to understand how Zoom worked, and who faced serious opposition from non-fake news sources that Obama didn't have to contend with, got 81 million votes? 12 million more Americans voted for him than voted for Obama in that historic 2008 election?
LOL.

But to answer your post, you say "I do not know many people who are for open borders, left or right". Well exactly!
Hardly any Americans want open borders, but the leftist govt / media leadership (and to be fair, many RINOs as well, who are perhaps an even greater problem than the leftists) does, for a variety of reasons (cheap labor, undermine solidarity among (and unltimately replace) heritage Americans, become a permanent dependent underclass allowing the deep state to grow, etc).
So you have a situation where the likes of Sleepy Joe, Heels Up Harris, Cryin' Chuck Schumer, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, plus various fake news "journalists" will look directly into the camera and lie that the border is secure, when they know full well it is wide open and useless, low IQ turd world refuse with no skills or even English language, are streaming across by the millions into a life of welfare handouts, govt-provided legal aid, and anchor babies.
(And they really are garbage: the only people that want to make the dangerous illegal trek north are the worthless underclass who are too stupid and generally useless to get along in their own countries. It is not middle class Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Somalians, whoever, that are coming. It is high school dropouts, criminals, gang members. So if the average IQ of a 3rd world country is, say, 85, the average IQ of the illegals from that country will be significantly lower.
As a great man once said: "They're not sending their best".).
But I digress. You go on: "So an example. Right wingers want free trade, lower state interference. That leads to replacing replacing higher paid labour with cheap foriegn (sic) labour. " Let me stop you right there!
We do indeed want free trade and lower state interference. We do not want mass immigration. There is plenty of labor in America. If there is a shortage, supply and demand will increase wages to the point that there is no longer a shortage. Ordinary Americans will therefore get to benefit materially from the gains of free trade, not just the owners.
That is the model that American followed for most of the 20th Century, when it was at its greatest and wealthiest.
Regarding immigration: a little known fact is that one third of the immigrants who came to America in the 19th Century ended up returning home. That is because there was no welfare state. It was sink or swim, and many sank. Then in the early 20th Century, America ended immigration, and there was zero until the lying traitor Ted Kennedy and his cohorts introduced the 1965 Immigration Act.
It took a few years for that to really kick in, so for the large majority of the 20th Century (America's Greatest century, in which we vastly expanded our wealth and dominated the world) there was no immigration. Not a coincidence.
Nowadays there is far more immigration, of far less capable people from countries with far lower average IQ. Furthermore, there is a vast welfare state or endless gibsmedats of various shades, which is part of the reason why we are $30 trillion in debt.
So no, we don't want "cheap labor" (aka endless welfare handouts), thanks. There never was a period of "free migration". What limited migration there was, was quite stringent, and migrants succeeded on their own or went home. Then at the start of the 20th Century, immigration was ended, and America enjoyed 70 years or enormous prosperity and success. Until the effects of the 1965 Immigration Bill (and other disasters) began to kick in.
We need to return to the successful mid-20th Century model: a stable, homogeneous, united people; free trade and very limited state interference; secure borders and a strong military to defend them. The people brought in under the false pretenses and barefaced lies of the 1965 Immigration Act, in order to engineer the Great Replacement of western people, need to go home.
P.S. The video you attached was by an openly Marxist Jewish college professor. Was it supposed to be a joke?

Even the MSM Washington Post is reporting that Democrats are criticizing Biden, louder and broader. When will the libtard "experts" in this forum learn and change their mind? I predict NEVER.

Of course you wacko leftists didn't mind them making other bullshit decisions like declaring in opposition to the entirety of human history and nature that two fags could get "married". But now that the court has moved back to sensible, Constituional decisions, you're having meltdowns and threatening the Justices. LOL.
P.S. Imagine being a wacko leftist and calling someone else a "Red Menace".

Now the demonstrably Repub-leaning RealClearPolitics' Generic Ballot Midterm Election poll of polls shows a scant 1. 3 percentage point advantage for Repubs with a normal MoE+/- being about 3. 5 points. That's down from something like 10+ points not long ago.
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...vote-7361.html
Yes, we all know Dems could have as much as a 5 percentage point lead over Repubs in these polls and still lose a few seats in Congress thanks to the extreme gerrymandering / cheating done by the Repubs and Trump's America-hating unprecedented manipulatIon of the recent census count.
Yes, we all know Repubs have spent the last 2-3 years installing America-hating, election-denying QAnon loons in state and local ballot-collecting and vote-counting positions, proudly poised to throw out and not count how ever many likely Dem ballots and Dem votes to make sure their beloved Repubs win no matter what so they can get back to their Party's primary mission to shit on America, destroy its economy and wipe out millions of jobs.
Yes, we all know with the Party not occupying the White House winning Congressional seats in 37 of the 40 midterms since the Civil War, all the Repubs need to do is sit down and STFU for the next few months and they'll probably come up "winners" this time around with no cheating, no "murderous caravan heading for our border" tales, no "CRT" nonsense, no "wokeism" junk, no fabricated "defund the police" crap, etc required.
But with Oil / Brent prices falling 15-20% in just this past month, the electorate's attention therefore shifting a bit to the aforementioned by others existential threat, clear and present danger to American Democracy posed by the Repub Party, all coincident to the tightening of those Generic Ballot Poll numbers, Repubs now might actually have to put in some rare and uncharacteristic work trying to explain just why on earth anyone not an America-hating QAnon loon should vote for them in November.
