I was educated in a Christian school so I know what the teachings of Christ are. The fact that very few Christians actually follow these teachings and that the whole church system is about power and control not about following the teachings of Christ was a major influence in me becoming an atheist. All these rituals, all the rote prayers, they are all to keep people in the system.
