Biden has now recovered and produced more jobs, recovered and rescued the economy from the latest Great Repub Economic Crash And Disaster, passed more effective positive legislation including historic bipartisan Infrastructure legislation in his first 10 months in office than vocational golfer Trump never came close to passing in 4 miserable years of empty promises to skip at least one failing Trump golf resort weekend excursion to even consider and saved millions of American lives faster than anyone other than Biden himself thought humanly possible.

To suggest that he would have reacted slower than Trump or anyone else and stalled in the proper response to the intel Trump got about the spread of Covid as early as January 2020 is preposterous on its face and contrary to everything that is easily observable, well known and fully documented about both Biden and Trump.

And that is in addition to the obvious truth that the CDC monitors and Pandemic Prevention and Response teams would not have been defunded and pulled out of those Chinese labs in 2018 against all expert advice not to do something so stupid and dangerous under Biden or any other Dem as happened under Trump. Which means the world very likely would never have been plunged into Trump's Pandemic and all of the subsequent worldwide deaths, massive jobs destruction, supply chain destruction and hyper-inflation that Trump's catastrophic stewardship produced in the first place.

It turns out residents of California have a much better chance of surviving Covid-19 than residents of Texas, Florida, a whole slew of maskless, low vaccine Deep South States and most other States as well.

    Very telling indeed.

In other words: "More Americans have died from covid in 2021 (11 months) with Uncle Joe in office than died in all of 2020 (12 months) under Trump before there was a shot.

Gavin Newsom boasted that the Golden State "continues to lead the nation" as the only state to reach the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's yellow "moderate" tier of community virus transmission. But COVID-19 cases aren't falling in California anymore. They have climbed back up to the CDC's blood-red "high" level of virus transmission as the highly contagious Delta variant continues to wreak havoc.

Meanwhile, the virus has gone quiet in Deep South states that abandoned mask orders, opposed vaccine mandates, posted lower vaccination rates and saw larger outbreaks over the summer. California's case rate is now well above Texas' and double Florida's, which along with the rest of the Gulf Coast are down to the CDC's orange "substantial" transmission level."

The problem with you is that you are dancing around the "facts" while cherry picking your data and drawing errant conclusions. The southern states tend to get a reprieve this time of year because the extreme heat is off and crowded indoor activities around AC decrease. They spike in the summer. It's seasonal. That was Desantis' excuse for the spike in FL over this summer and he was correct. On the other hand the north sees a spike as cold weather arrives due to increased indoor activities. But what is the big picture? Since the start of the pandemic red states with few exceptions have much higher Covid case rates per 100 K population, which gives us the big picture. See attachments. In fact if you look at the top ten then the bottom ten the former is about a Whos' Who of strong red states, the bottom the same of strong leftist states. The attachments are through 11/26/21. Follow the link and you'll see the maps updated through yesterday.

As to the increase in Covid deaths in 2021 as compared to 2020, first there were also more cases in 2021 to correlate with the deaths. The reasons are two fold, one the pandemic didn't get going strong until late March of 2020 so there is a shorter time frame. Two, there's been far more mobility this year as restrictions have lifted. There has however been considerably fewer deaths this year in relation to cases due to improved treatments and the vaccines that conservatives proportionately reject at a far greater rate than their liberal counterparts. See attachment.

So these "facts" you brought, or perhaps only copied and pasted off a right wingnut blog are actually half-truths that when presented alone represent an untruth.

P.S. Much of the nation including many red states, as well as some of the more northern counties in the South have high transmission rates over the last week, so it's disingenuous to single out Cali. Given what we know about Covid, a disease spread through aerosols, it no doubt would be worse if not for the many that cooperate with safety protocols like masking and social distancing. Comparing Sweden's results, a country that has had loose protocols against their Nordic neighbors who have taken the virus more seriously proves this. Check World O Meter under the individual countries.

Case rates? Who cares about case rates? In a country where Biden has made sure every American can easily get fully vaccinated for free, the death rate is the rate that really matters. That's why the vaccines were invented despite Trump spending virtually all of 2020 trying to convince the world not to bother inventing one or taking one.

No vaccine ever invented is capable of preventing a positive test result, otherwise known as a "case". They aren't even invented for that purpose as case numbers will naturally increase as more people are vaccinated and mitigation measures are relaxed. A vaccine is designed on the premise that you will be exposed to the virus and will then test positive.

Vaccines are invented to prevent serious sickness leading to death from the virus.

Therefore, behold the stubborn facts about Covid-19 Death Rates By State as of December 8, 2021:

My favorite exchange is with the cute blonde that attempts to equate the vaccine mandates to Hitler's attack on Jews.

The commentator asks "Were WWII Jewish people fleeing Poland because they couldn't get into gyms?

    According to CNN Fake News?

Pro-Trump red states had a 52% higher average of COVID-19 deaths per capita than blue states, researchers found.

That mirrors the vaccination rate data, which showed that 4 in 10 republicans remain unvaccinated, compared to just 1 in 10 democrats.

The five states with the highest per capita death rates -- Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and West Virginia -- all went for Trump in the 2020 election.

Meanwhile, the death rates in blue states, where vaccination rates are higher, have significantly declined since vaccines were made available.
I assume this is another joke when fake news is quoted.

Biden said Trump was reckless releasing the vaccines after such a short testing period. Biden would have had twice as many deaths in 2021 if Trump had not fast tracked the vaccines. A "new editorial"? This NEJM article dates to October 8 2020. It's the Republican ever-trumper administration led by the Orange Clown himself the article calls "dangerously incompetent. " When this article says ""we should not abet them and enable the deaths of thousands more Americans by allowing them to keep their jobs" that's an indictment for them. The Republicans.

It's only when it comes to politics and his beloved pet peeve conspiracy theories, his cynical inclination to use any trick or sleight of hand in order to win an argument really shines.
That quote about the NEJM was actually from a WSJ editorial like from a week ago, an editorial that was so powerful and persuasive Trump bragged about it and the Washington Post tried to refute it.

So here we go again. First, there was the tetanus thing and now this. You think you are being smart when you are really being a fool. If you do not get what the WSJ is saying with the NEJM quote, that is on you. I think it is a good idea to understand an argument before refuting it or attacking someone.
