So, if the USA produced no oil and OPEC produced more than enough to cover the USA shortfall, would oil prices go up or down? Using your logic above, the price of oil would go down because there is more supply.

Is OPEC producing more oil now, or less? They are producing less.

Therefore, the problem with the per-barrel price of oil isn't President Biden, it is OPEC. Just like it was in the 70's.

You are wrong once again. Here is the actual report. https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-...murder-problem.

Here are the highlights: (1) In 2020, per capita murder rates were 40% higher in states won by Donald Trump than those won by Joe Biden. (2) 8 of the 10 states with the highest murder rates in 2020 voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election this century.

Of course, you will say that this is "fake news" like you always do. But that simply proves that you can't think for yourself and that you have bought in to rightwingnut propaganda.

Evidently you can't provide me with a "fake news" source that proves (you know, with charts and graphs taken from real, informed sources) that at some point in time in the recent past the USA didn't import one drop of foreign oil.

That's what energy independence is and that's what you can't prove, even with "alternative facts" sources.

Please post a link for this poll you and other wingers have been referencing.

Biden's place in the history books will be fine

By the end of this year, Biden will already have achieved more positive economic legislation, national security and foreign policy results than any Repub ever. If he does nothing for the next two years, it won't change any of the historic legislation he has already passed and set in motion.

Incoming Repub leadership, if any, will most assuredly spend the next two years claiming credit for the amazing historic results thanks only to Joe, Nancy, Chuck, the Dems and everyone who voted for them and no one else.

As Know Nothing and Do Nothing Repubs usually do.

Well, their Doing Nothing would be a great improvement over what they typically do, which is to produce the worst across the board results in history.

If the southern border were really open, there wouldn't be any migrant camps in Mexico. But there are plenty so the border isn't open.

Red states have a higher crime rates than blue states. I guess supporting the Orange Buffoon didn't really mean tough crime.

Red states have higher poverty rates than blue states. I guess voting Republican means we'll all be poor.

These are the difference between President Biden and the one-term, twice-impeached, fake-POTUS former guy.

Cali Guy was right. Only 3% electric cars in 2021

Your "correction" was incorrect, since I was not commenting on worldwide vehicle sales.

The United States sold close to 18 million new vehicles in their best years, but only close to around 14 million vehicles during most recent years in the last 12 to 15 years.

Worldwide automobile production has ramped up to annually around 80 million vehicles currently.

So when Tesla delivered close to a million electric cars in year 2021, it was around 6-7% of US production, but only around 1% of worldwide car production.

The reason why worldwide EV production is around 3% is because China is growing a big expansion of electric vehicles, most of which can't meet current United States highways safety requirements.

Cut your 30 year estimate down to seven or eight years.

Oil & gas stocks will tumble well before that.
Cali Guy was right. Only 3% of new cars bought in USA in 2021 were electric.

"We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border," Governor Abbott said. And I should add where the bullshit left wing corporate media will not be able to ignore the problem any longer.

    Let's Go Brandon!
Great post but you forgot to mention that Biden approved free cell phones for all illegals today. Yes he is pretty generous with our tax dollars. I would think closing the border could save us some money also.

BTW, I don't think internal combustion engine vehicle production will end.

There will still be a use and some demand for gas powered cars.

But use of electric vehicles as replacements for gas powered ones will stay strong. A long-standing trend as people enjoy the smaller maintenance costs.

Eventually the oil industry will consist of shrinking companies, at least for the companies that don't diversify.

Clawing at each other over a dwindling market.

Good direction you are giving your clients CaliGuy. Oil & gas investments today need exit strategies.

Why are all the lefty media outlets now suddenly covering the Hunter Biden laptop story as if it were just another news itemas if they hadn't spent 20 months telling us it was "Russian disinformation"? A story they got woke ex-intelligence gurus (with the greatest of ease) to pronounce a Russian plot to get Donald Trump reelected?

Now it's ho-hum: cloudy, with patches of rain and gusty winds, followed by sun, and the laptop shows that Hunter Biden is a pervert and a crook, and his father probably is, too; but expect warmer weather tomorrow.

    Your god is great?

But Biden has produced better jobs creation, economic recovery, expansion and infrastructure legislation results than all three of your previous Repub gods combined.

    Thanks, Joe.

In contrast, however, I argued that scenario was far-fetched: too complicated and too time-consuming. If it were done, then 'twere well it were done quickly, I. E. , it would have to be done before the Republicans likely take back the House of Representatives. Otherwise, they would prevent the Democrats from approving even a left-leaning substitute for president and vice president..
