But if he means the Dems risked an even loonier Repub (one endorsed by Trump) than a more "normal / moderate" one winning this year due to their efforts to help the supposedly "loonier" one win the primary to become the nominee, that is a total non issue.

Here's why:

If anything, the "normal / moderate"-seeming Repubs have done more damage to America than the demonstrably loony ones.
