See, according to your new favorite source, polling results are muddied and likely favor a candidate whose most ardent supporters are suddenly more inclined to race to the phone or go online to respond to pollsters, surveys, etc and tell the world what they think when they perceive him to be picked on. That short term pop would likely be most noticeable in close battleground states.

Shocked? No it is more like bored. The "bombshells" like Russiagate and Ukrainegate landed with a thud. In 2016 and 2017, we had to hear Dems like Hiliary gripe about how the election was stolen and then it somehow became criminal when Trump did the same.
