Today the most reputable and reliable poll of polls service shows Repubs with less than a single percent advantage over Dems on their Generic Ballot question.
At only 0. 7%.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...eneric-ballot/
That is a "falling off the cliff" level of decline for Repubs in just a few weeks.
Considering they have two huge historic advantages this time around in that it is the first midterm of a POTUS from the other Party as well as the first midterm after the Dem POTUS and (nominal) majority passed truly historic legislation destined to become revered and virtually untouchable as the basis for what makes America great (Dems are always punished for this in the next midterm due to Repubs launching full force into demonizing the Dems' historically positive accomplishment), this midterm ought to be an easy Red wave for Repubs and a big one.
But their disastrous recent and historic results combined with their astonishing level of anti American, anti Freedom, anti Democracy, BIG Government Authoritarian Dictatorship Love is making it way more difficult for them than it ought to be.
Then again, their hatred for America and democracy has meant they are only busy installing QAnon Repub loons in positions to throw out ballots with votes they don't like all around the country. So I suppose it won't matter how godawful they do in the election.

And Hoover didn't decide to lay the foundation of any potentially deadly Pandemic to emerge and spread unabated, make sure it became one when the first predictable opportunity came along, lie in sync with our stated foreign adversaries to successfully mass murder at least a million Americans and cap off his historically disastrous so-called presidency by leading a violent, cop-killing mob of lemming followers to attempt the overturning of a free and fair election and the overthrowing of American democracy as Trump did.
Therefore, by comparison to GW Bush and Donald J. Trump, Herbert Hoover was a pretty good president. As were Charlie Manson and Jack the Ripper. By comparison to GW Bush and Donald J. Trump, that is.

In Trump's time, I agree we were bombarded with tweets, some pretty mean even for his supporters like me, but good thing was that things were getting done, US and international economy and peace were kept in a steady path. Some of us understand that how a man talks to me (mean tweets) is way less important than what he does for me (keep us safe from getting killed in wars or making sure we aren't getting into huge inflation or recession etc etc blah blah blah). It's the intelligence to figure out what's important for us and what we can ignore. Like I always say, Trump is no way the best possible POTUS, but compared to all other current choices we have (or had in 2020), he's probably the best. If a better candidate comes along for 2024, I would definitely vote for that better candidate, unfortunately Burden was never that candidate and never will.

They have as much chance of waking up out of their trance as they have to get enough IQ points to decorate a domino.

Paulie97 in your vehement defense of the Nancy Pelosi's Jan 6 House Inquisition you omit the key fact in my post that the star witness, White House assistant Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony was 100 percent hearsay. And wait for it, within hours of Ms. Hutchinson's allegations, the Secret Service agents actually involved came forward and said what Ms. Hutchinson testified to under oath did not happen.
Now if this spectacle was really an honest, fair minded inquiry into what actually occurred on Jan 6 and the days leading up to Jan 6, you would think the committee would have subpoenaed the Secret Service agents involved and listened to their sworn firsthand testimony. BUT NOOOOOOOOOO, the committee did not do that and did not explain why the Secret Service agents were not called. But everyone knows why they were not called.
So, we can argue the semantics over what to call this disgrace, this soviet era show trial, this inquisition, but no fair minded American can call this thing an inquiry. That is why most Americans have tuned out and are not watching this disgraceful spectacle. They know the verdict was decided before the 1st witness was called.

When the term "RepubliKKKants" is used, no I don't really go from 0 to 100 mph, thinking all Repubs are racist or KKK members. Just like when you call Democrats "libtards", I don't automatically draw the conclusion and think, Elvis thinks all Dems are retards.

No wonder the NFL owners didn't want him anywhere their business or a NFL team.
