    Well

"For all the Democratic posturing about how fair the 2020 vote, we were asked to trust the courts and how no judges took on a challenge to the 2020 election as proof it was fair. I never thought that. I thought after the 2000 Florida debacle that judges hated intervening in an election even in 2000 where they had to. I thought the court then made the right decision but it took its arrows for involving itself. My attitude was not to ask the court to decide the winner. If the Dems cheated well enough to be caught by the court, so be it. You cannot ask judges to decide who should be president.

So we have Colorado and now Maine and all the indictments and it is pretty clear that the judicial system is tilted dramatically in the Democrats favor. The argument that we could trust the judicial system not to pick a president with the 2020 election has been lost. My faith in the judicial system has been shot and the polls show I am not alone. What has happened with all the bogus legal charges and Trump gaining in popularity has the Democratic douches as a lost as to what to do.

Well, Robert Kagan of the Washington Post has his take and wrote.

Indicting Trump for trying to overthrow the government will prove akin to indicting Caesar for crossing the Rubicon, and just as effective. What limits his powers? The most obvious answer is the institutions of justice all of which Trump, by his very election, will have defied and revealed as impotent.

Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans threw every legitimate weapon against Trump and still failed. Will they turn instead to illegitimate, extralegal action?

It is utterly amazing how an asshole like this just blows off the Americans who vote for Trump as stupid. You fucking assholes sent a SWAT team to Trump's house to get paperwork and you thought people would be cheering you on versus looking at you with disgust? The Biden administration actions have Banana Republics like El Salvador and Argentina blasting the USA as corrupt. And now the solution is to kill Trump as opposed to beat him at the ballet box? Can you get more vile?

Matt Taibbi writes The Post racked up lots of these oopsies. It ran the damaging April 2017 leak about the FISA court surveillance of former Trump aide Carter Page, wrongly dubbed an "agent of a foreign power. " It botched the "Nunes memo" story, ran at least eight different wrong scare pieces about Russian bots, bit on "Bountygate," and helped build the oppo-crafted story of Trump as a Manchurian Candidate whose "warm views" of Russia "began in the 1980's, when the country was still part of the Soviet Union," who appeared to change the Republican Party platform to help Russia, and "tried to conspire" with Putin. It's hard to see anything but willful cooperation in a goofball intelligence-led caper to paralyze the Trump administration through a campaign of leaks and manufactured rumors that began before Trump's inauguration, before he even had a chance to do the bad thing.

And all this is greeted with whataboutism and so what and never mind by the Democratic douches. You want us to believe 2020 was honest after all this shit and now these fucking libtard judges telling citizens they cannot vote for whom they want?

We saw what it took with the border crisis. There was all this racist bullshit about the border and then the governor of Texas started sending immigrants to Illinois and New York and the libtard politicians cried like little babies for help. Who are the racists now?

And there is more for Taibbi, More revealing still were Kagan's passages about how easy it will be for dictator Trump to pursue enemies in modern imperial America, a state Kagan helped build, where the executive has almost limitless ability to thumb the scales of justice. I get why Kagan would be nervous he and his CIA-ogling pals like Bill Kristol and David Frum will likely be first in line to herded into the proverbial see-130 and pushed out over the Atlantic, should Trump and Steve Bannon go that route. Still, it's astonishing Kagan didn't know how much he gave away, in laying out fears of "tyranny. ".

When a guy is advocating for our votes not counting and advocating killing the leading candidate for president, shouldn't he be thrown out of plane? When you have an asshole like Kagan and his allies who have systemically destroyed the public faith in the supposedly objective judiciary, shouldn't he suffer his fate of not having an objective judiciary?

The thing that gets me with Democratic douches like Spidy and Tooms is their arrogance. The whole notion that voting for Trump is a vote for Democracy and against the deep state goes over their heads.

We saw what it took with the immigrant crisis. With Spidy and Tooms, I think the only way they get the folly of sending a SWAT team in to get paperwork is to have the same happen to them.

And they take their marching orders from guys at the Post and NYTimes. I bet it never occurred to them that guys like Kagan are really spewing out all this anti-Trump rhetoric is out of fear for their lives.

I never imagined that if a guy like Trump threw a guy like Kagan out a plane that it might be good for Democracy. That is how much damage Democratic douches have done to the judicial system. ".

    This is precious

"It is clear that the Rule of Law and the USA Constitution is tilted dramatically against Trump, the Repubs who are too needy for those dumb Repub hillbilly political donations to call him out as the America-hating Traitor and Con Man he is and Repub voters slavishly devoted to replacing American democracy with an Authoritarian Dictatorship.

Sorry. Try to get over it. ".

I will take a Putin style authoritarian govt over Scumbag Joes vision for America (destroy it as fast as possible).

I've been to Russia, you can eat off the sidewalks they are so sparkling clean.

Hey BTW haven't you been living under a Military Junta for at least a decade? WTF gives?

    Imagine that.

    Thanks, Joe.

It turns out Economic Policy and Stewardship can actually drive the cost of essential products down dramatically WITHOUT plunging us into another Great Repub Crash and Depression / Recession along with Skyrocketing Unemployment Rates and Wiping Out Millions Upon Millions of American Jobs.

    Amazing, isn't it?

As long as it is the kind of policy proposed and passed by Dems along with typically effective Dem stewardship and most definitely NOT typical crap Repub policy and stewardship:

Oil poised to end the year 10% lower in first annual decline since 2020.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/29/oil-...ndroidappshare

Otherwise promoted by typically pro Repub Mainstream Media as "not handling the economy as well as Republicans. ".

    Lolol.

  5. #13862

    Ohhhh

    Poor Babies:

From FedEx to airlines, companies are starting to lose their pricing power.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/29/comp...ndroidappshare

After years of strong consumer spending, some companies are now finding the limits of their pricing power.

Companies including FedEx, Target and General Mills have cut their sales outlooks, while airlines have slashed off-peak fares.

Faced with slipping demand, more price-sensitive consumers, easing inflation and better supply, some companies are looking for ways to grow profits without price hikes.
As usual, Joe got it right; telling companies to stop GOUGING American consumers. Meanwhile, the lazy Inflation Hysterics who blamed Biden and the Dems' Historically Successful Recovery Legislation for the Inflation caused by Trump's Pandemic's Supply-Chain Destruction and the plain old Corporate Greed that followed and went along for the ride during that Recovery got it wrong.

He distributed 65 million condoms? Well, that may be his best accomplishment of all. Maybe that will win him my vote. / sarc.

Biden keeps bragging about the economy when in reality he (and Trump) printed up all this money and caused prices to double and now he wants slaps on the back for a higher stock market and wages.

Sorry, Joe, the reason the media is not slobbering all over you is that things are not that great. This is nothing like 84 or 85 under Reagan or 1999 under Clinton. It is not even anywhere near Trump in 2018/2019. The classic Democratic douche move is telling you how you feel. You should be grateful for this wonderful economy. Why should we be? You assholes were screaming from the rooftop to shut it down so Trump could not get re-elected during the scamdemic? No, thank you. You don't get credit for an improved economy after you destroyed a better one.

Here's a story near and dear to your black heart

"As an overview of the Historic positive accomplishments of Biden and the Dems vs the Nothing But Disasters "accomplished" by Trump and the Repubs, this guy covered much of it very well. However, your side's beloved typical pro Repub Mainstream Media, Bob Woodward, Bill Maher et al still managed to pocket the direct connection between Trump and the Trump's Pandemic he created so well from the moment they were well aware of the facts of it back in early 2020 that even this guy forgot to include it as THE Trump "accomplishment" of his so-called presidency.

    And a few other things:

Bidens 2024 chances are much stronger than people realize.

Two things have happened to Trump since 2020 that are going to make it very hard for him to win in 2024.

SHILLUE: Jessica where do we go from here? Twenty seconds to defend Joe Biden, the indefensible.

TARLOV: We go right back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue because... we do have good economic news. But, the media doesn't want to cover it. He is correct on that. He shouldn't just say, you're looking at the wrong thing. They need to communicate this better.

But we've got revised third quarter GDP growth up to 4.9 percent. Unheard of. Consumer confidence went up to 14 percent. Largest jump in a decade. Inflation is running at an annualized rate below Powell's target, which is why he's talking about a rate cut. Personal income is up. Grocery and energy prices down last month.

And the Quinnipiac poll, this part of it is really important. They did a forward looking question. What you think 2024 is going to be like, 48 percent said the economy is going to be better, and 62 percent think that they are going to be better off in the next year. When is the election? November 2024. Democrats make your case. There is a case to be made.

    Word on the street says

"All my life and as far back as records are kept for these things I have been hearing Repub economic "experts" and pols warning us against the eminent failure of the latest Dem economic plan to pull us out of this or that Great Repub Depression, this or that Great Repub Recession; "Oh, it will destroy the economy! It will destroy jobs! The stock market will Crash like never before! For the love of God, your family and the country, don't let this happen"!

And they have been wrong every time. Exceedingly, dramatically, historically wrong.

By stark contrast, Dems have warned that this or that Repub policy will only waste money, add significantly to the deficit and produce few if any jobs for the American people, might even drive the country into a serious downturn.

And WE have been right every time.

Sure, there might be a minor decline over the next year or so. There ought to be, the Fed has been working mightily for about two years to make it so and the Inflation Hysterics have been demanding it. But despite the fact that Dems take over when economic "expert" Repub policies and stewardship have Crashed the economy, wiped out millions of jobs and stocks are plunging in value, as was the case when Biden took over from economic "expert" Donald Trump but is NEVER the case when Repubs take over from economic "dummies" Dems, there is very little evidence of storm clouds gathering to produce anything resembling one of those several Great Repub Depressions / Great Repub Recessions. And if there is, Biden will not be too busy going fishing, riding ponies, clearing brush down at the ranch or playing golf, golf, golf to do the right thing to avert it.

Unless the country is foolish enough to place enough idiot Repubs in the way to block him from doing it. ".

(...kkkk!) Let me stop you there! The only thing I'm "convinced" of in this particular instance, is your growing need to delve into Disney like "flights of fancy", "WHAT IFs...?" and "spurious correlations", to scratch some kind of conspiracy itch?

Let be honest here...I think this might be right up Elvis 2008 or MDS1's alley? I think you should punt, this line of "spurious correlations" STUFF, over to them. I'm sure they'd love to wallow in the mud with you on this one. (...kkkk!)

Should "Son of Satan" bare the "Sins of the Father"?

Absolution, brother Tiny, is well known by many denominations...even atheists!

As some ISGers, have anointed you the "Son of Satan", (as you, yourself have stated), it must be said, one can hardly blame YOU, for the "The Sins of the Father". Whichever right-wing political demagogue "sinner father", that might be?
