Even I failed to see it until about a year into Reagan's first term as so-called potus. Hell, I was even hanging onto a ridiculous, unfounded in the historical data "False Equivalency", "Bothsiderism" view of it as late as 1992!

I realized and accepted the shameful error of my ways after that. The historical and recent data, verifiable results and easily observable reality made it impossible to ignore after that.

The overturn of Roe v Wade, was decades in the making, for those on the right. And with equally long-term focus, right-wing "initiatives" like Project 2025, that are steeped in chaos, are more akin to a "Handmaid's Tale" dystopian future, than your typical egalitarian democracy.

Right-wing Heritage Foundation, projects like Project 2025, seeks to disrupt and collapse many of our democratic institutions and re-imagined them into some authoritarian, fascist, gulag hellscape. Only this time it may not take decades and may arrive a lot sooner than we think, should democracy suffer in Nov 2024.

So on the right, we have Project 2025, "mob-boss" Trump, J6 insurrectionists, election deniers, the utter total collapse and gutting of the Repubs / GOP and the RNC party...what does it all mean?

Could it be smaller parts of a larger picture? Or simply to sow the seeds of chaos, all while steadfast in the "march and drum beat" towards "civil unrest" or worst, "civil war", as the right (many times) have often claimed they want?
