I don't understand why Biden was griping yesterday about his team failing to find a strong, consistent message heading into the 2022 midterm elections, sources told NBC News.

I think Biden and his fellow democrats need to listen to (successful strategist) James Carville.

Just keep reminding voters that one party is against gun violence and that party supports women getting to chose their destiny.

In May 2018 Trump was still essentially coasting on the Obama-Biden positive economic trajectory, his one and only economic legislation, that godawful $2.5+ Trillion Tax Cut And Jobs Act signed and passed on the last Federal Government business day of 2017, had not yet shown it produced zero GDP growth improvement, a million fewer jobs and slower wage growth with it than we had under Obama-Biden without it.

Trump's first Bear Market close in the broad USA stock market in December 2018 had not yet occurred and, most importantly, Trump's worst economic decision of all time, his 2018 decision to defund the CDC and remove all of the Pandemic Prevention and Response Teams from those Chinese labs contrary to all expert warnings not to do something so stupid and dangerous, was still about 18 months away from exceeding those dire warnings to, sure enough, allow a likely manageable virus endemic in a region of China to spread unmonitored and unresponded to until it threatened to become a Pandemic then, sure enough, Trump's lying about it and mocking the known mitigation measures on the world stage for almost the entire critical year of 2020 converted it into the mass murdering, worldwide economy-destroying, millions upon millions of jobs wiping out, global Supply-Chain collapsing, hyper inflation-generating Trump's Pandemic it most certainly became.

All of which still ongoing historic economic disaster Trump weaseled out of even remotely rectifying while all of it was dumped into Biden's lap to deal with and clean up.

Yet, with all of Trump's horrific stewardship results landing squarely in Biden's lap while at this same point Trump had the luxury of the terrific Obama-Biden results to coast on so solidly he was already breaking POTUS records for Most Rounds of Golf Played While Pretending To Work For a Living, Trump's Gallup Poll Job Approval rating was a measly 1 percentage point higher than Biden's?

Prices in the euro zone continued their march higher in May, hitting a record high for the seventh month in a row.

Inflation came in at 8.1% for the month, according to preliminary figures from Europes statistics office Tuesday, up from Aprils record high of 7.4% and higher than expectations of 7.8%.

It comes after inflation prints from several major European economies surprised to the upside in recent days. German inflation (harmonized to be comparable with other EU nations) came in at an annual 8.7% in May, preliminary figures showed on Monday significantly outstripping analyst expectations of 8% and marking a sharp incline from the 7.8% seen in April.

French inflation also surpassed expectations in May to a notch record 5.8%, up from 5.4% in April, while harmonized Spanish consumer prices jumped by an annual 8.5% in May, exceeding expectations of 8.1%.
