Trump stated that the pandemic would end even without the vaccine, which is true. Every pandemic ends. The Spanish flu ended, despite being vastly more virulent and damaging than covid. And that was in 1918 before domestic and international airline travel could spread a virus all over the country and the world within weeks or months. All the more reason NOT to defund and pull out the CDC monitors and other Pandemic Prevention and Response teams from those Chinese labs whose job it was to keep tabs on, report, prevent and quickly call a response to the first evidence of a possible pandemic developing.
