It's when anti-vaxxer / anti-masker ignorant fools, get on the air waves and bloviate, espouse and spew their so called COVID medical knowledge, to trusting Americans, is when it becomes problematic for the general public at large and specifically the medical profession and hospitals.
The case of longtime conservative talker and anti-vaxxer, Dick Farrel, best sums it up, when he was dying from COVID and said,"...COVID is no joke, I wish I had gotten vaccinated!

BS Contention #3: The vaccine doesn't prevent transmission. True. It doesn't. But here's what it does do. It prevents hospitalization and death, for the most part. The vast majority of hospitalizations and deaths are the unvaccinated who are, primarily, MAGAts. One thing you trumpers forget about science is that science is always changing. Trumpers say "that's lying". What it is is BS.
BS Contention #4: The remainder of your nonsense. One of the tenets of conservatism is "You've got to live with your choices. " It is every trumper's right to remain unvaccinated. It is their employer's right to fire their sorry asses if they aren't vaccinated. Tough. Being unemployed is a consequence of a trumper's vaccination decision. The QOP conveniently forgets lots of things when it comes to vaccination. Most school children need to be vaccinated. All the military need to be vaccinated.
All I wish is that the unvaccinated trumpers would volunteer to work in a COVID ward. For a month. Without PPE. And to decline medical assistance when they get COVID. But they won't. They're too scared.

Your link is saying the same thing I did. Yes, you can say you are twice as likely to get hospitalized if you do not have the vaccine, 4% versus 2% in Israel. You can also say that the vaccine prevents one hospitalization for every 50 people who get it as of now, and there is no guarantee even that number holds up.

This whole thing is such bullshit, and you know who agrees with me? The head of the CDC: https://edition.cnn.com/us/live-news...d02c536828ea1e.
"Our vaccines are working exceptionally well," Walensky told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in reference to fully vaccinated people who get breakthrough infections. "They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death – they prevent it. But what they can't do anymore is prevent transmission. ".
Wait a second! Aren't unvaccinated Republicans killing vaxxed Democrats and those advocating against the vaccine killing people too? You douches have been running with that narrative for so long you do not even get that it has not proven to be true.

Why wouldn't the government use the CDC and other health organizations to lie and support its stance on sexuality? Show me a peer reviewed article that supports the polyamorous lifestyle that so many guys here lead and are fine. Do you expect a study about the damages of a toxic wife? Of divorce being so devastating for most men they should never marry? Shit, all I see is this bullshit about how married men live longer.
It is a fact the CDC lied about the AIDS numbers and how rare it was spread heterosexually in the late 80's and early 90's. It is a fact that latex allergies have been diminished and the studies showing the ineffectiveness of condoms in STD prevention has been buried.
That is the part with you douches I will never get. You fuck boat loads of women bare and go to other countries to do it and yet swallow up every bit of BS the government and Fauci put out with Covid. How do you all live and support sexual freedom and yet demand that others get the Covid vaccine at gun point especially now that vaccines have not been shown to prevent the spread of Covid?
You should look at every potentially political government health decision with a grain of salt just like you did with sexuality.

"As for the Pfizer booster, side effects are terrible. 63.7% had fatigue. 48.4% suffered from headaches. 39.1% felt muscle pain." Seriously? This is what you describe as "terrible"? Terrible is being on a ventilator and getting long covid for a year. These symptoms are pretty much what most people experience from a about of the flu. What a pussy. I'd rather have any or all than be dead. Just sayin.

Unlike other right-wing ultras leaving their marks in this thread, Elvis does monger. His mongering and travel-related tips are top-notch. Why he enjoys spreading this extreme, anti-science and anti-common-sense nonsense is beyond me.

If everyone were vaccinated, then all hospitalized people would be vaccinated and that obviously wouldnt mean vaccination was useless. In real-life Israel, as of Aug. 15 using Morriss summary of official data 301 fully vaccinated people had an illness severe enough to require hospitalization. They represented just 53 out of every million fully vaccinated Israelis. At the same time, 214 hospitalized people were not vaccinated. Those people made up a much bigger fraction of the smaller population of unvaccinated people: 164 out of every million. So an unvaccinated Israeli is about three times as likely to end up in the hospital as their vaccinated compatriot.

Right now, the worst places for Covid are in countries that have been the most vaccinated.
When Delta first arrived, Israel had more Covid cases among vaccinated then nonvaccinated.
Israeli data showed that 4% of the unvaccinated cases got critically ill versus 2% of the vaccinated. As someone pointed out, that is misleading if you do not consider age and comorbid conditions but even with that, the vaccine prevented someone from getting seriously ill only one in 50 times it was given.
As for the Pfizer booster, side effects are terrible. 63.7% had fatigue. 48.4% suffered from headaches. 39.1% felt muscle pain.
Then you have this, Teenage boys are six times more likely to suffer from heart problems from the vaccine than be hospitalized from Covid-19, a major study has found. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...source=Twitter#Echobox=1631205198.
Does the Covid vaccine prevent the spread of Covid? I do not know how anyone can look at the current data and say that it does. For now, it looks like it prevents hospitalization and death at best.
And now we are left with data that shows that one in 50 times the vaccine prevents someone from getting critically ill. That is a reason for some people to get the vaccine especially those in high risk groups but when you look at the side effects in low risk groups, IMO the side effects of the vaccine is more of a risk than catching Corona.
The only viruses eradicated are those who solely have human hosts like small pox. 67% of deer in Michigan now have antibodies to Covid:https://www.nbc15.com/2021/08/10/67-...19-antibodies/.
So Covid is with us to stay. There may be short term herd immunity but there will be no long term herd immunity as long as the virus is harbored with other species and can mutate amongst them.
Given that the countries that have had the greatest reduction in Covid cases have been among the unvaccinated like Colombia and India, the government should get the hell out of telling people what to do.
Getting the Covid vaccine should be an individual decision a person should make while weighing risks and benefits with his or her doctor like every other health decision including abortion.
Of course, that does not fit the China loving, one party hugging, white male hating, Democratic douches who think they know what is best for everyone.

Why are you bitching about Afghanistan. You fascists don't want to admit them.
The Democrats, by the way, don't control both houses of Congress. There are 50 Republicans and 48 or so Democrats.
Maybe we are douches because douches get inside of a vagina.
