Turns out that covid was in the US in back in 2019. There were no lockdowns for months, and we know how contagious it is, so millions of Americans no doubt contracted it when out and about in their normal lives, and didn't even notice.

But Stewart is not a scientist. He's not a virologist. He's a brilliant comedian, but that's the full extent of his qualifications.

Investigating coronovirus origins is like investigating the chicken and the egg. Stewart made a point to note that because there is a coronovirus lab in Wuhan, the virus most likely escaped from there.

However, unlike Jon Stewart, scientists know why there's been a lab in Wuhan in the first place. Because certain regions of China have conditions (the proximity of wildlife to farming lands) that are perfect for brewing novel coronoviruses. There have been numerous studies about the mechanism behind rage / anger addiction. However, it is fundamentally a symptom aspect of ego fragility and injury, particular to a narcissistic personality (think Trump). The dopamine rush of anger is triggered by underlying feelings of weakness or insecurity.
