All flus and other diseases that have had major and minor impacts on humans have been traced to natural sources. Turns out that covid was in the US in back in 2019. There were no lockdowns for months, and we know how contagious it is, so millions of Americans no doubt contracted it when out and about in their normal lives, and didn't even notice.
