Vaccines to fight coronaviruses had been researched and developed for years before this one cropped up. The lady who spearheaded the Moderna vaccine cited her research and efforts on developing it going back to the Obama presidency. Nobody worked harder to discourage everyone on Earth from bothering to spend the time or money to develope and produce a vaccine specifically for Covid-19 while also promoting and defending doing absolutely nothing to mitigate its spread into the Pandemic it became than Donald J. Trump.

He gave the effort that was already happening despite him a name, "branded" it, after it was clear the world needed it thanks so much to his lying and cowardice; Operation Warp Speed. That's it. And not even a very good brand name.

Meanwhile, the vaccine developers judiciously delayed a few announcements of success until it was clear Biden would be more involved in the distribution and administering of their product than Trump no doubt because they knew if they handed that challenge and opportunity to Trump he'd just fuck it up like everything else he was handed in life.

In fairness, only 4 states have max more than $700 a week. 5 others -- between $600-700. And surprisingly to me, those states don't include NY and California. Very few people enjoy the kind of windfalls you're describing.

Talk about forgetting details! Yes, he knew about the severity of the virus, then turned around and intentionally lied to the American people about it. Remember that little interview with Bob Woodard? Yes, he lied to the American people, then refused to do and support the right things, like wearing masks and social distancing. He didn't want people like Dr. Fauci to shoot straight with the American people, and would have fired the esteemed doctor if he felt he could get away with it. Trump showed no respect for science, and incredibly suggested that people ingest bleach to defeat the virus. Trump refused to model the appropriate behaviors and ended up getting coronavirus himself LOL! Remember that detail? Not only that, but the virus was running rampant throughout the White House with one person after another getting it! When the vaccines started to come onto the scene, the Trump administration had zero plans for how to work with the states to effectively roll the vaccines out. That took the focus and dedication of the Biden administration to do that which, as has been previously noted, was seriously hampered by the Trump administration's refusal to facilitate a peaceful and orderly transition of power from one administration to the next, which is something that had happened in the United States for 100's of years, quite often between administrations with very different ideas of how to best meet America's interests at home and abroad. If you claim that the details have been missed, then you need to make sure that you include all of them yourself as well.
