Pipeline was going to be built

The pipeline definitely was going to be built. The pipe was already bought and the money was in place to install it. In some area construction had already started. It is a simple fact that it is cheaper and safer to transport oil by pipeline rather than trucks and rail. This pipeline would have saved consumers money.

But the fact is Biden supporter Buffett is making a lot of money shipping oil by rail. And we are seeing it at the pumps.

Even more so when the accusation is based on the introduction of social policies that hve been adopted in most advanced nations such as healthcare. I would doubt if 2% of Americans have a socialist bone in their body. The other 98% are Conservatives, of which about half are "Conservatives with a conscience".

These are the people who are not necessarily altruistic in wanting to see the lives of the poorer improved. These are people who understand that it is in nobody's best interests to fill the streets with the sick, the poor, the uneducated and the unemployed.

It is said that the greatest trick the Devil ever performed, was to convince people that he didn't exist. The GOP have copied that lead in convincing Trump's base that the problems they are enduring, is because of others and not the fault of the rich. The best evidence of this was with Obamacare. You only had to see the hatred that was generated against that in Trump's base. It was only when they discovered that the proposal to scrap the Affordable Care Act, which was in fact Obamacare, that many of the base, opposed its repeal. Is it any surprise that Trump will tell you, "I love the poorly educated"?

Then of course, there was the xenophobia card which the GOP played to the hilt. Remember how Trump was going to ban all Muslims? It turned out that the ban was only applied to those from poor Muslim countries. Saudi Arabia, who provided 18 of the 9/11 bombers was not on that list, and the Gulf states were also excluded. No bans were placed on countries where Trump might do business. How about Mexicans taking American jobs? These were in the main, jobs that Americans didn't want to do anyway, notwithstanding the fact that cheap Hispanic labour, often illegal, kept prices down. Regarding China, it was corporate US that sent those jobs abroad. These jobs were not stolen from Americans.

During the meantime, the US continues to exist as a plutocracy. The rich will still benefit under the Dems, though maybe less so than the would under the GOP. They have done this by convincing a huge swathe of Americans, that Biden wants to make the US the next Venezuela, and with a narrative that tells them what they want to hear rather than what they need to know, while repeatedly telling the likes of Trump's base, that anything that contradicts their version of events is "fake news".

As I've said, even if you think stopping the count at midnight and sending GOP observers home in democrat cities in swing states when Trump was way ahead, and then hundreds of thousands of "mail-in" ballots, 96% for Biden, show up at 4 am is all totally legit (LOL), the incontrovertible issue is the unconstitutionality of the election.

The Constitution is clear that the method of election in each state must be set by the state legislature. Not Washington. Not the state governor. Not activist judges. The state legislature.

In five of the swing states at issue, the legislature refused to alter the method of election to mass mail-in voting. In each case, the alteration happened because the democrat governor or left-wing activist judge ordered it.

That is unconstitutional. End of story. The Supreme Court would have been forced to rule as such, which is why they refused to hear the case.

Hey John, I think they should build a Leningrad pipeline, how about you?

You might have to spend half a day to get a photo ID? Half a day? Oh well in that case forget it. People have Netflix shows to watch and Call of Duty multiplayer tournaments to play in which are far more important than ensuring the integrity of the election.

Your premise is also ridiculous, as the vast majority of the tiny number of people who don't have a photo ID live near to a DMV and the round trip would take a couple of hours. But if they can't be bothered, they obviously don't particularly want to vote, which is their choice. Why can't you accept that?

Look at steel futures -- they're flat. These are world commodiities. The price of rebar, cold rolled steel, #1 scrap have exactly nothing to do with Trump or Biden. Okay, Trump put some stupid tariffs on imported steel -- but Biden is keeping those same stupid tariffs! American manufacturers hate the tariffs. Real Republicans used to hate tariffis. So what are you even saying about steel? Pick a position. Keep the Trump tariffs? Get rid of them? You are simply making useless noise.

Yeah, so wheat is up from maybe $4/ bushel in 2016, now it's trading around $6; however, the US is a huge wheat exporter -- the farmers were getting crushed at $4 and they're still being crushed -- it's still too low for them, and it has about a zero effect on the cost of your beer or bread. Same for corn and soybeans. We export this stuff. Higher prices are good for farmers and good for the US.

Oil futures are trending up but's that's because of anticipation of increased demand -- and has fuck all to do with the cancellation of the XL pipeline or whatever you think has caused it. Again, look at oil futures. If you want to show some conviction, put your money where your mouth is and go long on oil.

Your "arguments" are not even internally consistent. Simply useless, uninformed noise.
Yes Biden canceling the XL Pipeline was a huge success. Not for the states that the pipeline is going through who would have had jobs created and would be able to collect state taxes on the pipeline flow but for Warren Buffet. Biden biggest donor. The oil still flows but on on trucks and Buffett trains. Since Buffett controls majority of rail stocks he gets richer while the states lose money. Fortunately I have 1 share of Buffett stock and it is now worth $408,000.

The oil is still transported. Not in a pipeline that does pollute the air but by diesel trucks and trains. Great for the Green idiots here. Really makes sense doesn't it when sociss as lists are trying to push the green deal.

Obamacare that the socialists love gave healthcare to 15,000,000 that couldn't afford it paid by the government and raised premiums 200 to 400% on the other 285,000,000 to pay it forcing 20,000,000 people who had insurance to lose their insurance. People were forced to pay a fine because they could not afford Obamacare. Conservatives and democrats know this was a failure. Socialists or communist countries like Venezuela don't give free healthcare.

Trump banned Muslims from terrorist countries not all Muslims. Saudi, Philippine, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and any other Muslim country that weren't promoting terrorism were allowed in. Trump did this to protect US citizens like he banned travel from China to protect US citizens from Covid. Socialists said both of these acts was xenophobic but had to admit later it saved lives.

It is amazing the blue states that claim to care have the most crime, most unemployment, most poor, most homeless, most crime, most murders, most riots. I thought these people cared.

What jobs won't americans do? The vegetable picking and planting is done by Americans and documented workers from Mexico. This is the stupidest thing I heard.

American jobs will be lost by illegals. They will cost the taxpayers millions of dollars. Obviously you don't work, don't pay taxes and don't give a crap about your country. You hate USA, you hate the rich, you pretend to care by calling whites racist and you do nothing to help the poor or the homeless. You pretend to care like every socialist on this site.

I feel sorry for you. You must absolutely hate your life and want to blame Trump for everything.

The only part of this that I disagree with are the percentages.

Yes, maybe 2% of Americans are socialists. 40% are liberals, 30% are conservatives and the rest are independent.

Amen to your last sentence. By far, the worst damage done by Trump was to convince his cult that everything was "fake news" unless he or Fox, OANN, etc. Said it.

    Monkeypaw's Take on Politics

    1. Opinions are okay.

    2. An opinion that is backed up by facts is even better.

    3. But are you able to argue things from the other side and back it up with facts as well?

    4. If not, or you refuse to, does that make you one sided?

    5. And one sided definitely makes you bias.

And bias, of course, knowing only half the story, makes people stupid. Try playing the devil's advocate next time.

Yes it is easy. One DMV per county is plenty. Most people already have a drivers license and can renew by mail so it is very easy to get a license. You said that a person would lose half a day at work to get a license but that makes no sense because you can't get a job without showing an ID. You can't cash your paycheck if you don't have an ID. So I guess you are talking about illegals who don't have a job or don't go to the bank but they are on some sort of government assistance and you want these people to vote. Admit it.

Great post and you did cover most of Biden screwups. We all knew that a weak president would enable Iran, North Korea, Russia and China but the socialists on this site ignore it like it isn't happening and only Trump supporters make it up. Just like for the past month several posts here identified the border crises which the socialists said wasn't real. Well today Biden officially called it a crises on all news stations. Not just Fox. I understand though why the losers on this site support a loser like Biden, BLM and Antifa. Most countries in the world already have lower taxes than the USA and they are already talking to the big corporations like ApplE and Coke to move business overseas like in the Obama era. It took Trump 2 years to get the big corporate money invested in USA and Biden will wipe it out in his first 100 days. I know the socialists here will say good ridence to US investment and jobs because they can make more on unemployment. With Biden is going to skyrocket like never before. So I ask who is going to pay for it?
