Here is a report of a Florida man sending some Bulgarian cam girl $200,000 (and killing his entire family fwtiw). And "alpha male" Andrew Tate had cam girls shake down online guys for very serious bucks.

Though I don't think every Only Fans woman is a billionaire, I can't understand why anyone would pay $30++ a month to look at some wench. But then I don't understand the lure of gambling and other addictions.

Leaving the sociological twaddle to one side, what is wrong with men (not the odd one but lots of them) who squander money in this fashion? I get you could believe a third world LBFM you meet in the flesh loves you but this addiction seems more fatal than gambling.

Only fans isn't the problem. 30 bucks is Starbucks money. Means nothing. It's people that send thousands of dollars to someone online that I will never understand. They should be older wiser guys. Just come to the Phil's and blow your money on hookers and then leave. Do it again if you want, or move there, but to send your life savings to a girl you never met is crazy.

Putting a girl on allowance while here isn't a horrible idea if your fucking her everyday. Jasper says the average salary in the Phil's in the mall or call center is 400 a month. If you want her to quit her job and travel with you and bang you all month then pay her 450 a month and everyone is happy. I see no problem with that, but the rest is insanity.

We have long wondered about such activity. Guys who never leave home to visit another state or province (much less another country), and never intend to travel, end up in love (or lust) with girls met online, sending good chunks of their social security checks. Can't tell you the number of men who have told me about their 'girlfriend' they met online, but never met IRL. They spend countless hours each week with the girl on cam, chatting away about everyday things, asking her if she remembered to get her mother's dry cleaning at the laundry today.

Years ago I posted about an over-sexed lady, late 30's, I had been seeing in Manila for several years. One evening I had the taxi go to her place to pick her up. She forgot something inside her apartment. We ran upstairs to get it. I was waiting just inside the door and noticed 2 young girls, whom I mistook for being 9-10 and 12-13 years of age. They were 13 and 16. The mother had met older Americans online and hooked up one each with each of her daughters as a boyfriend. Both men were in their 80's. One had been sending p15 k, the other 20 k, monthly, to the mother to care for her daughter. Both geezers were too old to travel. Both geezers believed his GF was 20. How TF he believed that a girl who appears to be 10 yo was 18 is just one thing that was / is beyond me. The other is sending her $400 USD each month. Each daughter got 20 minutes of online chat, several times a week, with the mother present in the house. The mother saved enough money, easily, to put both girls thru college. After we left her place and went for live band, she was sharing all of this. I remember thinking: ONLY IN PHILIPPINES. When one of the geezers later stopped communicating completely, abruptly (we assumed he passed away), she went back onto a dating site and got the daughter a new victim.

Guys who fall for OF / cam girls, same thing.

I had trouble verifying my account at first, partly because of lighting when I took the selfie, and partly because my passport picture then and me now look very different. I tried to send myself money from my American bank account to GCash using Xoom and it would not receive it. After it finally verified, I could. I still can now from back in the US, and I do sometimes to send money to people, but on lazada, etc.

Do you trust Lazada? I didn't know you can send money thru that.

I am not sure, for 2 reasons:

1) Mine was more than a year ago. Things change regularly here. Its possible that you could have sent money unverified at the time, but not now. I am not sure.

2) I had a variety of troubles while unverified, and I didn't try sending money while unverified at the time.

The verification process is built into the app. The app has you take a selfie, you take a pic of your passport pic page, and you might have to take a pic of your SIM card.

Phils government has made a solid attempt to cut down on anonymous sending.

So you can't send money unless you are fully verified?

Is there a way to get a virtual sim, that will run the phone in a vm or an app in my desktop? That way it can get the txt msg also.

Contact smart or globe on Facebook that is normally how OFWs get their sim cards working again its worth a shot. Also add the SIMS to the Phone Apps this helps because you can visually see what promo you have and how much load you have and its expiry date. If you have contacts in phils yo can also get a new sim activated and sent over but remember to turn on roam before it leaves phils.

The problem is I let mine go inactive. Even with it roaming, it will not actually accept a promo and work. It's annoying.

In a strange twist of fate, I'm not able to use GCash to buy load for my Philippines sim for international use without using the OTP, and I can't get it because I'm international. But I have still been able to use GCash to send money, pay bills, and make purchases using lazada.

I don't use GCash so I'm not sure of the mechanics. If you are asking about it's connection to Wise, then yes, Wise can pay into a GCash account.
