Collecting trivial examples like this of how Pinays might get some statements wrong is demeaning and insulting.

If compiling lists like this represents the only intellectual challenge for guys living here and taking advantage of Pinay favors, then maybe it's time they went home.

The second largest bank in my country was recently fined $1. 3 billion by the regulator for breaching Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML / CTF Act). According to the regulator, the bank should have reported the thousands of over-the-counter cash deposits of under $10 k going to the middle east for various nefarious purposes. Furthermore, the bank was supposed to track and report the thousands of small payments going to the Philippines, being sent by mongers. As Gofer has mentioned, you can guess what all these $20 and $30 transactions were for. They were not to help with the new roof for the local Catholic church.

If you are a monger from Australia, your bank and the AFP are closely watching all small transactions made to the Philippines. Your internet provider would also have all of your details. I don't know about USA, but here in Canada is abit different. I do agree that if you are looking for a filipina younger than you by 25 or 30+ years is very hard to find that, but if you are looking for a filipina 10 to 15 years younger than you is very doable, last year I had a couple of filipinas 10+ years younger than me (10 yrs and 12 yrs) I lost one of them when I came back from my 8 months trip, she has a BF now. PL's search facilities always sucked. You couldn't search for many cities eg Dumaguette and Cebu would bring up girls anywhere in the very large province.

Cupid has a Most Popular section. Most are hotties but get '000's of messages per day, may or may not see your message and often are straight up scammers.

Cupid must have robbed market share. They are seeing easily an extra 20% online.

After a long hiatus, I decided to go on PL to see what the situation is. I know it's totally pointless collecting contacts now with no possible opening date, but I bought the 1-month subscription for $32 south sea pesos and gave it a whirl. Here is my review.

I will preface this by saying that the main objective for mongers using dating sites is really just to get the girls' phone numbers. This is so that when you get to Flipsville, you can call them up, meet them at your hotel and then fuck them for 2,000 peso overnight. It should not be treated as anything more than that. Try and avoid incessant chatter which lasts more than a day or two and building up their expectations unnecessarily. It is cruel. They will very quickly profess their love for you and it will drain you emotionally. Most of the girls on PL will fuck you if you are respectful and treat them nicely. You don't need to ask. It's just understood that if she agrees to come to your hotel (most will) then sex is on the menu. She's certainly not going to your room to pray. I'm not sure how many lonely white men actually meet their future wives on PL, but it would be a miniscule percentage.

Now for the review.

1. Overall the app is less clunky than before. Maybe the Thai owners of the site decided to spend some money in development to make it easier to use. There's plenty of Indian IT boys wandering around BKK without much to do. Might as well put them to work. There is a quick yes / no button like Tinder now to rapidly screen through 500 LBFMs in 10 minutes.

2. Before, you needed to search by province in the pull-down menu. So if you didn't know that Angeles City was in Pampagna, or Subic was in Zambales, you were totally fucked. Now you need to type in the area you want to search. In any case, you need to have the atlas open in front of you. For the convenience of first time users, they automatically point you to Manila or Cebu where most of the action is. Fail proof.
