When I'm travelling it is best practice for me to operate two phones. A couple of apps let you have multiple logins on the same phone:

Skype: can logout of one account and log into another.

WeChat: same process, can only use one account at a time.

FB Messenger: same.

Viber & Whatsapp: SO far have not seen a way to access multiple accounts on the same app.

For Whatsapp there is a workaround. Install "Whatsapp for Business" which has the exact same functionality as Whatsapp. This allows me to have two whatsapp accounts (IE work number and play number) on the same phone.

Any mixing of mongering activity on a work phone will result in some security issue between the data sets of contacts. Tread carefully.
