Exactly. If you are not trying to "hide" your activity from a spouse or curious work colleagues then FB is OK but, as has been said many times, there are all manner of different ways for you to be screwed through FB.

The major concern is the way FB keeps changing settings to "enhance" the site, and they don't always tell you what these enhancements are.

There will be major changes if FB is allowed to merge WhatsApp and FB as has been requested. One uses email and the other uses a cp number. That will really put the cat among the pigeons.

Would you go into some more detail in how you operate your second FB persona.

My fake FB does have my real pic on it. When I originally set it up I started out with a fake pic of a guy somewhat similar in appearance to me. The fake pic was accepted by girls most of the time but after a while it didn't really matter to me so I switched it to a real pic. It's not a huge deal if FB suggests my fake account to friends / family. None have mentioned it to me.

I do have my fake FB account locked down as best as I can. I disable people tagging me. I don't allow comments on posts or on timeline, etc. My biggest concern is one of my regular "GF" girls seeing comments from other girls on my timeline. What I can't disable is the ability to Like posts so any of my FB friends can see the names of other friends who Like a post.

It seems to have the following on offer:

1. Ladyboys: these are extremely persistent in trying to seal a sale. They seem to be the most active group.

2. Guys: They seem to be almost non existent, implying the gay chappies shop elsewhere.

3. Women: Very few P4P types, mostly older women looking for a steady pay cheque. , some young unmarried mothers.

4. Manila-Pampanga-Cebu: is the location of 90% of them with the rest being spread out through the paddyfields This indicates only those three places are worth it for mongers, even though they tend to be "touristy".

Those findings correlate to the posts on this board, where those three locations dominate. It seems other places only make sense if they had something else to offer.

There is no such thing as "high friends and photo search protection" on FB. You will all have instances of random names totally unknown to you popping up on your "suggested friends list".

One thing that really irks me with FB is that you can limit who is recommended and visible to you but you cannot stop YOUR profile being recommended to others. Sucks.

If I was to set up a second account all profile photos would be be sunsets or rolling hills. No face shots of anyone.

For FB, are guys running fake or generic landscape profile pics with high friends and photo search protection? How are you stopping your real friends and family finding your second account either accidently through a "friend" suggestion or an intentional search?

If you use your real pic on any fake FB account then you can almost guarantee that at some time somewhere your photo and assumed fake name will pop up on someone's FB page as a suggestion (as Gofer said).

This will be manna from heaven for those friends of your family who wish to drop you in the sh*t.

I actually have a fake FB account which I only access from my dedicated monger phone. Whatsapp and Viber are only on my monger phone. FB uses phone numbers (and other details) as a significant means of connecting people. In fact this works to my advantage often. Usually I focus on getting a girl talking on whatsapp / viber and within a few hours FB Messenger will find her on FB from her phone number and I will then have lots of pics and info about her. I don't mind if she does the same for me as my fake FB account doesn't have much on it.

I do prospect directly on FB and have had good results. I also use FB to stay in contact with some of my regulars.

If you only have one phone for friends / family and mongering then you are toast if you try to use FB Messenger.

I keep parallel phone, email etc to separate my mongering activities from my civilian life. I'm not overly concerned about hiding my true identity from girls. I realise some guys do go to great lengths to hide their ID but I am truthful about my personal situation with the girls and they know I'm not looking for long relationships etc. This plus I have never had a girl go crazy on me nor contact me via civilian channels gives me little incentive to go to great lengths to maintain a second persona to mislead the girls. I obviously don't hand out my wife's business card but I'm just not overly concerned about a girl trying to track me down.

From the other side however I do keep a second phone with accounts and contact details that cannot be viewed on my daily phone. It would be stupid of me to have a true profile pic and 50 female friends attached to a second FB account that would come up on a real friend or family's accidental search.

I don't use Messange of FB for that reason. I once had them recommend all my PL and FC contacts as potential new "Friends". The last thing I want is my user name recommended to a 100 part time hookers. I don't even trust having a fake account as FBs reach is so wide.

If girls insist on using one of there two, I just move on. It screams of fraud as every girl has a regular WA, Viber or similar so should be ok with giving out that number.

As an aside I don't care if other hookers know I'm a butterfly. For me, it actually makes not meeting on a particular day easier and slows down the endless messages every day.

This happened to an old monger friend who was trying hurriedly to remove near to 200 posts as wifey had found his handle. While some were eventually deleted not all and that as way too late. Like months later by which time he was truly in the mire and beyond.

This reminds me that as a precaution I have retired various usernames over time. I guess I'll still be in shit one day but only for 1 year of mis-adventures not 30 years.

I'd agree that everyone needs to be reasonably careful BEFORE distributing photos, videos etc that will then be beyond their control.

I've received a PM asking for advice from a member who is now dealing with a blackmail attempt after being videoed banging a girl's younger sister. I wish him well but there is not much you can do when said info is now in the public domain and beyond your suppression.

I agree but nevertheless it can get you and the forum owner in serious trouble. About ten years ago (could be a few years more or less) this forum was shut down and investigated by the FBI for quite some time because board members were allegedly posting (nude) pictures of minors.
