    Don't be too noisy.

You don't know what you're saying because you didn't grow up here in the Philippines.

"Kahit may shota kang pinay, hinde mo alam ang nangyayari dito sa gubat.'
Although you may have a Filipina girlfriend, you don't know what's happening here in the jungle.

The Manila papers are full of political stories about Mindanao. Its not like that on the ground there. The cities & towns are quite ok.
Most of what the activity attributed to 'rebels' is just opportunistic crime by bandits in remote regions. Traveling through remote regions of ANY third world country needs to be approached with caution.
Other than that you have little to worry about.

History of events disagrees with you Ama. The Abu Sayyaf is a very real threat, based in Mindanao. If you need a refresher course I suggest starting with wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Sayyaf You can also read up on the Fisabillilah.

Sure there are dangerous areas everywhere in the islands. Hell...I wouldnt go within 100 kilometers of Tondo. But there are areas more prone to trouble than others. And Mindanao is far more dangerous overall than anywhere else on the islands. Having lived there I would think you would know your own country's history.

My tagalog is not too good, but I think this means loosely translated:

"Don't be flashy or loud, keep your mouth closed because you are not from here in Philippines. Although there are (????) Filipino women, you never know what/who is waiting in the jungle".

Could be very wrong, but generally you get the idea. Keep a low profile is always good advice in a foreign land.

    Ha, ha, ha...

TO: Darcnite14, all I'm saying is there is a small scale civil war going on and just be careful. Amavida will never mention that Mindanao (& neighboring islands) is the kidnapping for ransom capitol of the Philippines. Just ask the missionaries kidnapped who were held hostage for more than a year. It's not the wild west but with a global recession now in play, you never know.

    I Will See

    Dw1 and AV,

I will explore these areas that have I never considered before. I will do this on a business level only. I have my hunting spots and I am very comfortable with them. A lot of you hunters wonder why I don't put locations and contact information with my post, I really do get 10 times more action freebie then I do P4P. To be totally honest, I have been to the Phills 20 times in 6 years and have engaged in P4P maybe 4 or 5 times.

What I do works for me, so I guess I will not change my game. The country side has more then pretty flowers and fresh air. Forget about the tourists spots, and get out to meet the neighbors.

I've been to Davao and CDO in Mindanao and had a wonderful time. As GE says, you'll probably find the cities much more comfortable/safer than Manila -- for a variety of reasons.

I have been in several countries and have been given this warning about outlaying areas , but this is the only warning that I actually took to heart. I am simply saying, maybe you might want to do some serious due dilligence before you decide to take this journey.

If you guys are very familiar with this region, I would apprieciate any information you have on shrimp and tilapia farmers.

Now I also have had a fair amount of success in Tacloban, Ormac and Biliran while walking through the markets with freebies, because these areas are really of of the beaten trail. Marvins hotel in Antipolo is where I usually stay and I have met many women when I shop for fish in the mornings at the sreet market. Wow fish and trim in the same place, how can you ask for more?
Darc, tilapia and shrimp were never high on my list of "Things to see and do", I have seen seaweed farms in Sulu&Jolo, I know they farm Tilapia in lake Sebu, I have friends in the MRDP so I can ask around for general info if you like? Zambo was always a great place to visit for sea-products like dried-fish etc as they badjao earn money from it. But regarding the safety of the area I never once felt under threat while in southern Mindanao, and I have been there countless times, though the same can't be said of Manila, its got to be the worst capital city in south east asia.

    Friendster & similar sites

I saw the discussion about Friendster, and just had to add my 2 pesos worth.

Friendster, and sites like it (Hi5.com, Tagged.com, MySpace.com, and etc.) are great for finding lots of pics of girls from all over the world. Many of the girls on these sites show no inhibitions, and literally bare all that they have to the world. At the same time, many of them will post pictures of celebrities in the hopes that nobody will know that it is not them. As stated earlier by BB, most of these sites allow "friends" to see the activities of the person that has added them to the list. This can be both bad (i.e. all the girls seeing your actions) and good (i.e. you can also see the girls' actions) at the same time. Many will post pics of themselves with their "honey ko" and still add hundreds of obviously horny guys to their friends list. If nothing else, it's fun to look around on these sites, and maybe make some contacts for chatting on YM, MSN, and etc.. And if you happen to strike out on any given night, you might even find some of them online and willing to give you a show.

I recently (less than a month ago) setup a Tagged.com page of my own. I found a pic (from an advertisement I think) show a guy's mid-section, wearing mesh underwear, which clearly revealed his dick and balls. I posted that as my profile pic, and nothing else. It may be considered plagerism, but at least I didn't copy and post any ISG photos, as I had thought about. :D I searched for girls in the age range I like, and started requesting to be added as their friend. I now have about 160 sexy friends, and I'm adding more everyday. I'm not sure if this will help me find anyone to fuck the next time I travel to PI. But I'm having fun with it, and it is one hell of a nice board of photos to look at when I sign on! ;)
