I went back and read a few posts just in case I had COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN something. Below is what I wrote and then what Amavida wrote. So this is the scenario, he brags about doing virgins and I ask him why he does virgins (while pointing out that I avoid them). He then goes into a little snit fit. For the record, I visit the Phils to supervise my business activities there every 6 - 8 weeks. Before arriving I arrange to date some girls I have met online via dating web sites. Often we have consensual sex (gasp). Sometimes the girls turn out to be cherry (gasp). I take each case on its merits, sometimes I have consensual sex with a cherry girl (gsap) sometimes not. Depends on if the vibe is right. Certainly dont go looking for cherry girls, but wont knock it back if she really wants it.

Couple of points :

* This is Asia, dont make the mistake of viewing what goes on here the same as your own culture.

In my much earlier post, the one labeled as argumentive, I clearly showed why Amavida's words led me to some assumptions. He never clearly showed me what assumption was false. And I challenge anyone to find a point where I "criticized" this guy. I was just trying to enjoy a good debate.

And then after he provides his weak arguements, he ends up with "we must be jealous". Well, that kind of statement just reinforces some of my "assumptions" which is he targets virgins and then is proud of his, ummm, achievements. And since the ladies detect this, in fact already expect it from the Pinoys, they tell him what he wants to hear. I suspect all that virgin blood that AV spilled was just a monthly period.

I agree 100% with you X Man. Now, IMHO...I have talked to no less then 100 Filipinas in the last seven months on this subject. I would say that 60% of them had at least one baby and some had two. When I asked, "Who is the father?" each one replied, "My first true Filipino love". When I asked if they knew of safe sex (condoms) when they got pregnant they replied, "No!”. Most told me that if a girl is from the province and she is cherry, it is considered a sin to mention sex. One girl said that her mom told her that now she had her period that she should stay away from men. She said that she kept asking her mom why, but her mom wouldn't tell her. Most of the girls told me that they didn't know that they would get pregnant from having sex. If you have spent any time in the Philippines, then you know how many girls get pregnant and the guy runs away and they end up in the bar to support their baby.
