    Fake ID

To LE a person with fake ID is usually hiding from the law and or up to fraudulent unlawful activities. They will assume the worst and it may take some time and money before they accept your reasoning of defrauding pinays of their pussies and running away.

In all home countries it is a felony to use a fake ID. What makes someone think they can do that in the Philippines with disregard for the laws?

But if you were that selective there would be no need for a fake ID!

Whilst I respect Chocha Monger's opinion and experience, I think the situation would have to go seriously sideways before a fake ID resulted in Police action. If you're selective about who you take back to your place you'll be fine. I've done this multiple times and never had a hint of trouble. However, mostly I'm a condo guy these days, hotels are just too easy to be noticed.

The country plagued with lots of problems. However, like another board member suggested, the political climate makes this type of activities of foreigners very attractive to prosecutors.

As of right now, it has been 2+ months, I have been traveling the country with a motorcycle and I saw lots of stuff and I eye witnessed lots of situations. I recommend to stay in the right side of the law.

You can probably do it for a lifetime without getting caught but when shit hits the fan and some authority finds out I bet they try collect all the shit they can to lock you up as long as possible aka squeeze you for cash / bribe money.

I give girls a fake name but I don't carry any false ID. But if a girl really wants to find my true ID she could get it down at the reception. The point is to avoid this to happen. Acting nice helps.

Good sound advice. Important, because a lot of ISG readers are newbies, and we don't want to mislead them into thinking they can flaunt the laws of the host country, Philippines in this case.

This decision can lead the monger down a rabbit hole that he did not imagine before setting off on a sex tourism trip. Security precautions for personal safety is one thing, falsification of identification with the intent to fraudulently obtain sexual favors from women not involved in the sex trade is another.

Under Philippines Revised Penal Code Title 4: Crimes Against Public Interest: Article 172 punishes the falsification and / or the use of falsified documents by a private individual; Article 175 punishes the manufacturing and possession of instruments or implements for falsification, and prohibits the introduction of such implements into the Philippines; Article 178 punishes the use of a fictitious name and concealing true name; and Article 338 punishes seduction committed by means of deceit, including obtaining sexual consent by fraudulent machination which is considered a word which rhymes with ape under Philippine law.

It probably would not go too well for the monger if he were to find himself in a situation involving the police and it is discovered that he used fraudulent identification to register at a hotel and fuck several local young women. In fact, it would be a Filipino prosecutor's wet dream in the current political climate. The unlucky monger would be facing a number of charges and the use of falsified identification would suggest the motive of his travel was criminal, placing the burden of proving otherwise on the defendant. There is no good reason to risk all of these potential complications. The odds of getting caught are probably low but the consequences are high enough to make doing it foolish because it is totally unnecessary. Nobody cares what the odds were when they finally get caught. There are a lot of guys who thought the odds of them getting banged up in the Philippines were very low but they were wrong, and some of them were detained with fraudulent identification in the possession which probably contributed to them being considered a flight risk.

Anyway, if anyone has doubts about this, just go ask a Filipino lawyer. You can run your scheme by a local attorney for the cost of a few lady drinks, and save yourself some major pain in the ass.

With 99% of legit hotels, the issue is that they will use the name as per the booking (which is usually the same as the credit card). I had to photoshop my driving licence with my "alternative" name, which pretty much every hotel has accepted (as a colour photocopy). At no point have I ever felt in danger of arrest, nobody really gives a shit.

Why would the hotel give it to the girls? Do they pay off hotel staff?

In those cases, the elaborate counterintelligence measures may be worth it. However, expert scammers and extortionists really determined to put the squeeze on mongers usually have their corrupt police accomplices waiting close by to make sure the monger does not escape from the hotel or condo. Once they flash their badges and guns at the front desk, the receptionist would be more than happy to hand over the monger's details and summon the manager to open his door with the master key.
I have hear of such scam. How do your spot one.

Man that is like China. Scary.
