There is a special rate for Philippino citizens. It is called balikbayan rate.

I had to deposit in all hotels I visited in Davao as well. Around 15 hotels ranging from 800 peso-rooms to Marco Polo. And they often staple the money to a piece of paper with my info on it.

There is no way the reception will check her in unless she booked the hotel and put the deposit down. It is possible that you sent her lots of money.

That isn't always true. If you are a regular and they know you, they will pass the key upon your request. I do it all the time and as a matter of fact, I am doing that tonight. Wow, I'm surprised by this report. I thought the reason we travel here from destinations like Shitville, North Carolina is to get away from these porkers. Anyway, to each their own. Its a bit less intuitive but you can search for girls by location and age bracket. filter for those interesetd in dating if you want, then use the brwse button and send a copy/pasted message to those that you are interested in. What you are experiencing makes no sense at all. Using another PC and getting a new IP adress should have done it, unless, your real IP has not changed. This will be the case if using a router or you have a static (non-changing IP). So are you sure it changed? If you do a Google on "What is my IP", many sites wil come up where you can check your real IP (the one seen by the outside world).

If you are using a router, changing PCs will not change your real IP, because it is in the the router. In turn, the router will give each of your PCs a different address (like 192.168.xxx.xxx). But, the site in question only sees the IP of the router.

If you find that you do have a router and the IP did not change, you can try to force it (this won't work if your ISP assigned you a static IP). Turn off your modem for about 10 secs (if DSL) or a few days (if cable) and you should be able to have a new IP assigned to the router.

If this was not your problem, then I am stumped.
