Thanks guys for the heads up on Tagged. My account’s been up for 24 hours and I’ve already got 40 friends, some of whom are very responsive! Although there do seem to be a few too many “too good to be true” profiles, and a high number of TS/TV’s on the site. Buyer beware! Also seem to be girls with multiple profiles. I had identical (and highly boring, monosyllabic) chats on YM, last night, with two supposedly different girls from Tagged.
I haven’t managed to get into Ringo. Is the site down?
Thanks also to X Man for his chat suggestions.

Posts: 4567Yes, this is often a problem. One option is just to drop one of these types.
But, I also suspect you could avoid the topic altogether by changing the subject or suggesting that you insist on "friends first".
And if you have her phone number already, just let it go. Ignore her for a while. Wait until you get to the Philippines. Her tune may change when you call her up and suggest having lunch.

Posts: 4567I agree with Robbaf's main point. But assuming that the online lechers are low-income lurkers is tenuous at best.
I'll add a few things about "playing the game" from the X Man point of view. Many of my comments are just generalizations, but they seem to work for me.
There are a lot of things you can say/do on chat to find out information and /or set up a possible rendezvous...
Where is your boyfriend tonight? (Comes across as a joke, but if you can confirm that she HAD a bf at one time, you can assume she isn't cherry.)
Do you live with family/ how many bros sis do you have / what is your work? (The more independent they are, the more likely your seduction strategy will work. And older ladies often fall into this category. Many brothers and sisters may indicate a lower income family...)
Can you recommend a good beach? Can you swim? What color is your bikini? (Some will recommend Borocay, but they've never been there. Having a bikini is usually a good sign, but best to chat a bit before going in that direction.)
Flirting in general seems to be very effective. "It's cold here in xxx, I wish you could give me a warm hug."
I'm sure others have their special techniques. Oh, and I try to get email and phone numers as quickly as possible.

I met a guy yesterday who had struck it lucky with a girl he met via DIA in GenSan a year ago. Turned out that she was bi and more than happy to participate whenever he wanted another girl He now intends to marry her and bring her to Pattaya to live with him as she is so flexible.
Anyone have any suggestions how to track down bi or bi curious giurls in the Phils?

I've found that many of the girls I have initially found on DIA or Tagged have a Friendseter account where they upload many photos. Is there an efficient way of using friendster for searching for potential contacts. I couldnt see that it had an age/location search function like tagged does?

Posts: 363But I think they have to accept that we may meet several girls on the same trip. I don't want them to think it is automatically monogamous from the start. That same girl would not accept this idea.
for me...if i am interested to a guy....i would want to meet him...and i dont want him to meet plenty...it's just your choosing...and it's a big insult if i would be one of your collection...it might be okay for those women...they can take it...but not me. it would be waste of your time if you meet plenty and end up nothing... :) well, i guess you have numbers to choose for...so, i guess you already made up your mind...that;s good.

Posts: 363One girl wrote me that she changed her photo back to the previous photo because the better photo was attracting the wrong kind of attention:
...good morning

i dont know why i received such messages..but i dont care...i dont get much messages right now..and thats fine... :) the more sexy pic i have, the more i get nasty messages... :)
so you're ready for your trip...good for you... :)

IMHO, these guys are lurkers from other countries who have never been to the Philippines and most likely will never be able to afford a trip here.

Posts: 363......as long as you know how to play the game.
Could you explain what you mean exactly. This could be very helpful, because I probably don't know how to play.

I have never been a fan of this social networking phenomenon but I have found Myspace, Friendster and Facebook overall more productive in every aspect in terms of seeing more photos; friends and family, day to day life and weeding out scammers.....

Posts: 4567Thanks for the info AV and Robbaf,
I've been deleting mail from Tagged as I thought it was one of those bot sites that encourages you to sign up, import your mail lists, and then spams.
I've never warmed up to the social network sites, but I may have to give it another go.
