Hey ES,

Registered with this site. But the prob is the same. I can view other ppls profile but cant contact them until i "upgrade" to premium membership. Did u also pay up at least once earlier. Or am i missing some trick ?

Yes, at one point I was a premium member but now just standard. I can send up to 10 messages in any given 24 hour period. I don't know if being a former premium member allows me to do this or not.

Sometimes if you are send to the page to upgrade if you click on "home" it will open the profile of the woman you want to contact and you can send a message.

Alternatively, I sometimes just open the instant messaging service and wait for some lovely to contact me there while I am doing other things on the net. Actually I am doing that now. If I am interested, I quickly switch to Yahoo or MSN messenger. Kinda like fishing. Throw the baited line in and wait for a bite. I have been told that any women who register a regular members but post one or maybe more photos are automatically upgraded to Silver status and that allows them to contact anyone.

I continue to have success there. See my post in the photo section about the chubby Shanghaiese married lady I nailed a few days ago.

Another tactic I use is to open the messenger service (not the HTML version), check the location by looking at the miles or km distance from me and page someone who lives in Shanghai or nearby I am interested in to chat. More work but I have had some success with this.

Yes you can. I have, but it took quite a bit of investment before I saw her overthere. Had a great time. She fell in love. I do like her, but not ready to give up the freedom yet.

Others have agreed to meet, but I'm not sure they would have. Most I have befriended finally admit to it being a job and have "real" lifes outside ABC. (meaning, there mom isn't really sick or the father of her baby isn't really dead or an addict.) two common stories on ABC.

Its best to play the field when you are there. Much cheaper and less emotions involved.

Thats the GREAT marketing of the internet dating sites. Sure you can join for free but you can't chat with anyone or contact them unless you PAY for the membership. The poor filipinas are all standard non-paying members and the only way to contact a standard member is for you to be a paid member. Pretty smart of the sites the way they hook you into joining for free and then make you pay to contact anyone. That being said I think they are still well worth the memebership. Lots of the girls have profile pics and as the Phil is sooo hot most are dressed in shorts or nice little outfits that show tummies and legs. Poor mans playboy, ha ha ha.

I live in Shanghai and find it very difficult to access Asia Friend Finder, however there is an other URL that will access the same site successfully for me. It is http://asiafind.com/p/page.cgi?pid=p...N_CONFIRM=TRUE or some times just http://asiafind.com.

This is a free site but "premium" memberships are available. I do not use the premium memberships.

I have successfully used this site for over 3 years.

I'm sure its on the forum, but probably in little bits and pieces that would take us non-web savvy types a long time to piece together.

Dear friend,

Based on my limited experience, Yahoo messenger is a very nifty tool. Try to get into Philippines chat rooms and chat with as many gals as possible. if they like you (which is not difficult provided u look passable) they shall give u their phone no:, contacts, and heck-even get naked. Off course, all of them hope you will come PI and spend some time (and money) on them. Which is perfectly fine by many of us for the GFE it provides. One word of caution: Don't spend online gifts or money without meeting them. Not worth it.
