I've stayed at this chain before in other cities, never had any issues. Guests always register / flash ID at lobby, then head-up. Anyone have experience with the one by the clock tower in Cartagena?

Question from your experience: 1 night at higher end hotel on double occupancy when the companion shows up later and may be asked to register. Will she be refused entry? Will some extra fee will be charged? Will the hotel charge me full 19% IVA if she is a Colombian? If she is not Colombian but has been longer time in the country?

Bad looking hookers in the rooftop bar, noisy, the street outside full of touts and beggars, etc. I also understand the bar at this hotel is a big pick up joint. So lot of traffic, I imagine,. Is this true? Is it as bad as it sounds.The reservation is non refundable. So I may be screwed. But since this is my vacation, I will do my best to enjoy! Take it all in stride. Hotel Torre del Reloj
Hello,
I will be in Cartagena December 20-27. I booked a double room at Hotel Torre del Reloj Carrera 7 and. 32-77, right across from clock tower. Does anyone have any experience in this hotel? Is there a chica fee? Someone here wrote that the hotel has a rooftop bar with pretty nice looking WGs who you can take to your room directly. So I am hopeful.
If anyone wants to hang out while I am there shoot me a PM. This is my second time in Colombia.
