My vote would be either Money Money Money by Abba or Money by Pink Floyd.
Speaks for itself, LOL!

Philippine National Anthem? My vote is "Close To You" by the Carpenters. Why do Birds Saddenly Appear. Every time you are near? LOL Everywhere I turn, several times a day that song is all I hear when I'm in the Philippines. You should have heard the 4 girls I took out of MBC and me singing it on my portable Karaoke System that I bring on every trip, in the room at The Hyatt Malate, as they were servicing me. 4 Filipinas singing into my "make believe" microphone. Sweet memories........ Even last visit it was the Lounge Singer's opening tune at the New World Hotel Makati. When I get on the plane I am singing it to myself on the way back to New York and through the Post Philippine Depression (we've all had it) for several weeks thereafter. Uhhhhhhhhh I miss the Philippines. January can't come soon enough for my annual pilgrimage.

I'm going to put my Mike Teavee hat on for a moment. No, you don't need to watch cartoons or telanovelas. She doesn't either.
Firstly, many of the girls I've met love the documentaries done by Vice TV, which you can watch on youtube. Start with this one about Liberia; it features a warlord named General Butt Naked, and this always amuses them, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRuSS0iiFyo.
These Vice TV documentaries will keep you both entertained and certainly will spark a lot to talk about. After watching a few of these a lot girls come to realise that the Philippines isn't the most fucked up country in the world - I think that's a good take away for her.
For TV shows I use bit torrent. Girls I meet have liked the following: Banshee, Justified, Hannibal, House of Cards, Fargo, and The Americans. I recently turned one girl on to Nathan For You and she's enthralled. If a cartoon must be watched go with Archer. I also turn them on to female comedians such as Amy Schumer, who have an amusing pro-sex message that isn't esoteric or culturally alien.
For movies you can't go wrong with "What About Bob?" and "Forrest Gump". Girls in their 20s won't have seen either of them, in my experience. I think most Pinays' favourite movie is "The Notebook"; they can watch it again and again.

Few weeks ago I ran into a girl as I was entering Robinson's Malate. I was standing in line to enter the mall, and she was exiting Robinson's just to my left. Have not seen her for about 2 years. I had a provider back in the day who brought her. I've written about her and put her in the PG before. She was completely naive before. One day I asked the girl if she'd like to spend an entire evening the next time and she said yes. How much do you want for that hun? She hemmed, she hawed, she looked at her feet (but not at me). "I don't know. You say". Sorry hun, you have to decide it. "Um. 1200?" What? Wow. I gave her more, and she spent 5-6 nights straight, and helped me get other girls for 3-somes. I kept her on several trips like this. She is yet another gal that perfers McDonalds for every meal. Then she dropped off the planet.
We hugged and went into Robinson's to the grocery store where I picked up some fruit. She followed me around the mall a bit, and then I told her I was done shopping and going to the hotel. She asked if she could come with me. I wasn't sure if she just wanted to hang out, or have a session. I told her that I didn't have money for a session (not true, I just wanted to see what she would say). She was fine just hanging with me. Once in the room, on the bed watching TV, boy+girl = sex happened. After my shower as I was toweling off in the CR, I heard her say: "I love it!" Love what? I stepped out of the CR and she was watching Sponge Bob. We watched cartoons for several hours (well she did, I busied myself with work and email online). After dinner (she wanted McDo, but I wanted noodles) I was on my laptop and she was switching channels. "Ohhhhhhhh! Tim and chereeeeee! I love it!" What? Sure enough, a Tom and Jerry cartoon. It was just about 8 pm and I asked her if she wanted to go home. She asked to stay the night. I reminded her that I didn't have any money, to see if she would stay on her own. She agreed to stay. I insisted on going out for a beer to get away from Tom / Jerry. After that we watched the tv channels that I was into, then we slept.
In the morning we had hotel breakfast and she stayed all day and night again. Every chance she got when we weren't sexing or going somewhere she attempted to get to cartoons. She's 24, no kids, another 4' 11" cutie. Recognizing her desire for cartoons, I asked in the mall if she liked stuffed animals and she said yes. We went looking and I let her pick one out for p380. On the second morning I slipped 2 x our previous nightly rate to her (no purse, she just stuffed it under her bra). Off she went with her new teddy bear.
I'm guessing she'll still be watching Tim and cheree when she's 60. What a culture.

Posts: 267I experienced the same thing
My trip to Ermita in May of this year.
I took a rather pretty thing that turned out to be a dead fish. In an effort to be kind I allowed her to watch TV.
She was a hooting and hollering at the cheezest Phil Soap Opera. For Pete's sake get a life.
