Jackson. Just noticed ISG slowing down over the past few days. Is there a reason?

Not complaining, just wondering if others are experiencing the same?

I noticed when googling an item there are sites pilfering posts.

I found many posts (including mine) leeched from ISG.

Just bringing it to admin's attention in case he wants to take action against them. They are clearly just using the posts to make money from advertising.

Jackson,

I and others have been informed that Angus is stepping aside from posting on ISG and his membership. This from Angus himself.

In summary, he was not happy to be censured for, and he admits, contravening ISG posting policy.

As a very active member, particularly of the Berlin and FKK threads, he has contributed over 2900 reports that have been on the whole most informative and insightful.

It would be a pity to lose such a contributor.

Hi Jackson,

When one opens photos on any given thread, a window appears with links. On expanding the window by dragging the mouse to your desire, open a photo. It would be wonderful to read the story relating to the exciting photo?

Question is: Would it not be possible to display a link to the post of origin? Some of these photos are dated I understand, but it would be an added benefit to the forum as a whole I believe.

I have tried many times to contact you asking about banner advertisement in Barcelona section but nobody has answered yet and I was wondering if there's any problem with the contact form.

Dear Editors:

I wish to lodge, in the most strenuous terms, a complaint against whoever reviews posts on the Cambodia forum. On February 15 I wrote the following:

Have a friend who recently retired to Ecuador. He's in a charming town at about 3500 meters. About 400 expats mostly from the US live there. He bemoans the fact that they live in walled compounds which they never leave and spend most of their time complaining about Ecuadorians and watching Fox News.

When my post appeared whoever reviewed the reviewer changed Fox News to MSNBC. I take great offence at this. I must add, this is the sort of mentality and action I expect from the dim witted people who are fans of Fox. I demand that either my post be re-posted as I wrote it or the $20 I paid to upgrade my membership be refunded.

I will wait to see who this matter is handled and then decide my next action.

Hi Jackson,

After renewing my subscription the credit card company went and put my card on hold.

Had to wait for a week for them to "investigate" what ever that means.

Are there problems paying to your account or is this just some freak incident?

I was wondering if you could move the ads that are posted on the right hand side? Or tone them down. Now I have to be so careful about reading the recent posts and if others see the ads, they can get any idea what type of website I am on. I am Not saying eliminate them just consider moving them to a better spot.

Fully supporting this email, adding that the subscription to the forum should entitle to a banner free browsing, not being the case with those animated banners, attracting the attention of any casual onlooker passing by and who, otherwise will it have their eyes catching the content.

Seems that after a blank period banners are visible again, even for paying members, when the subscription details show "no banners"

Seems thats the problem is recurring. Again most of the sub forum names have changed from their original name to the subject of a post in that forum! I guess their is some issue with the coding of the forum and whatever was done to correct it previously was not a permanent fix!

Can't judge, bu tI think a cyber attack woul dcreate serious damages and a mess everywhere, not on jsut a few threads as it is the case here.

Apparently whatever it is, it is surely affecting the forum big time. Names are being changed, post counts increasing, link to a page take you somewhere else. Probably a major bug in the forum database or maybe its a beginning of the Alien Invasion through their electronic warfare!
