The Medellin Mansion vs Club VIP

I have been lurking on ISG for a while now and have never been interested in international mongering since I believe I live in a city that has lots to offer on that regard. That impression has changed after I viewed a couple of pictures of Colombian ladies, so in the past couple of days I have read almost all the forum on Colombia (yes I have become obsessed).

I am posting here the conclusions I have come to and the plans I am making. Some of my logic might be wrong but it is based on the ‘general feel’ that reports gave me.

First I had to choose between Medellin and Cartagena. Cartagena seems to be more fun because of more ‘hunting’ and has a beach but I speak no Spanish so I decided to choose Medellin since they have facilities that offer you ‘more assistance’ and I really like the Paisas look.

Once I made that choice then I had to ask myself what seems to be the one million $ question: VIP or Mension?

Lots of finger pointing has been exchanged:

-MM has been ACCUSED of having a drunk commander in chief and the presence of younger ladies has been hinted at.

-VIP has been ACCUSED of posting pictures of unavailable ladies and overcharging in some cases.

Fortunately they seem to have buried the hatchet (and please do not respond to these critics I have capitalized ACCUSED for an obvious reason)

On the opposite side the good points seem:

- MM has tons of ladies always available and has more of a ‘party feel to it’.

- VIP seems to be a bit calmer and to be a bit more customer service oriented.

So the choice depends on your preference but for me I can fit in both these environments so after some reflection it hit me: WHO CARES? Where are the girls I like most? So I copied all pictured in each of their thread dating until beginning 2007 and compared them to see which I like most. It didn’t make it really easier for me but I have a small lean toward VIP so I sent them a request for room availabilities and have not yet received an answer (it has been 48 hrs). My vacation is only planed in March so I am in no hurry but if they do not answer soon then I will have to take my business elsewhere.

This is my impression and the summary of my readings. One thing is for sure as soon as I learn minimal Spanish I will try Cartagena.

Hope this helps newbies like me and thank you to all mongers that have contributed extremely useful information.

I dont really know if they have shut down, we usually send them all our guests who we carnt fit in at the Mansion and El Castillo so I hope not.

VIP 1 OR VIP 2 has not been shut down please lets get the facts straight.

Kevin and I have decided to workout a different way. He will be in charge of vip1 (which is his house) and I will be in charge of vip 2 (which is my house.

I will continue to help him in any otherway.

I also opened a clothing business with him up in 10 st one block up from Parque Lleras (womens clothes).

I have another company now that is called FIRST AMERICAN REALTY we specialize in realstate as well as executive services for those of you interested please pm me.

I was there in August and we had a blast. We had 2 of the Paisas come back to the Mansion at night and had a sweet jaccuzzi party.

To clarify: after midsummer = after August.

The flacas which were working there in the beginning of summer never returned after August because of ¨enferma¨ according to the casa.

The quality of this place hit rock bottom after mid-summer. The flacas left, and in came the fuglies who didn´t know how to suck and fuck. Turnover was high. And they knocked on the door early to signal the end of your session. If you didn´t hurry they would knock on the door after every minute or two which was very irritating.

As for stupid gringo´s buying property in Medellin, I guess there are quiet a few now.

Down Under Group has never owned property here in Medellin, they lease both the property´s and nobody has purchased a interest in the property that I know of, its all very interesting isnt it.

El Castillo IS part of the Down Under Group as is the Mansion. However, whereas Greg controls the day to day business at the Mansion, Robert and Boyd control the business at the Castillo. This has been the same even when only Robert was running the Castillo.

Boyd does the El Centro tours as well and the Mansion guests are always invited to join. Likewise, Greg does the Chicago's/Mango's type outings and the Castillo guests are welcome to join.


Not too hard to understand I hope.

We are just two streets up from the mansion. Don't forget about Elcastillo.

We have 11 rooms great staff. Read about our service. You can book with Yule at the Mansion. I give better service than both of them IMHO.

Having stayed in both places few times, my thoughts.

Mansion is very well organized and runs with an efficiency of any US hotel, VIP is vey unorganized, you do not know what you get until the last minute, many things do not work other their

VIP is a better looking place, but lacks in service department, Mansion has excellent service, Lina is the Star attraction, she is great, beauty and the brains and service.

If you just need some pussy, Mansion is a great place, if you are into local scene and looking for local GFE VIP is better, its quiet and ok to take your girl friend

Mansion is much closer to lots of activities and malls, with VIP you have to take a cab to eat or just to go out.

Quality of chicas at both places is not great, compared to what you see outside in the mall, the chicas outside or very hot, but the girls you see at Mansion or VIP or so, so ( Asi, Asi )

Albert is a better host then Greg, he is very friendly and willing to help at anytime.

There are + and - to both.
