Having stayed in both places few times, my thoughts.

Mansion is very well organized and runs with an efficiency of any US hotel, VIP is vey unorganized, you do not know what you get until the last minute, many things do not work other their

VIP is a better looking place, but lacks in service department, Mansion has excellent service, Lina is the Star attraction, she is great, beauty and the brains and service.

If you just need some pussy, Mansion is a great place, if you are into local scene and looking for local GFE VIP is better, its quiet and ok to take your girl friend

Mansion is much closer to lots of activities and malls, with VIP you have to take a cab to eat or just to go out.

Quality of chicas at both places is not great, compared to what you see outside in the mall, the chicas outside or very hot, but the girls you see at Mansion or VIP or so, so ( Asi, Asi )

Albert is a better host then Greg, he is very friendly and willing to help at anytime.

I must say though that I am indeed impressed with your latin prowess and your near mastery of the Spanish language. Good stuff.

We don't fly to Colombia to count nickels and dimes, I agree. But similiarly we do not go down there to have our host nickel and dime us either. I was with Qbert and Beersterry, and yes I was charged a surcharge for drinking water at a party we had prearranged ourselves with our own girls.

Yes I prefer the mansion, but not because I need to be spoon fed, but rather I found the VIP location in Envigado quite inconvenient. Many cabs can not find the place and try getting to poblado on a friday afternoon, or worse when it is raining out. There were also a multitude of out problems, too numerous to mention, I won't get into.

Although I consider the previous owner Tom a good friend, I hope the new owner Kevin is doing a better job of managing his staff and accommodating his guests. Tom was a little too hands off, and his staff took advantage of this by over-promising and under-delivering amenities to the guests (ie hot water, air conditioning, functioning jacuzzi's).

Also I was told by a guest at the Castillo last week he checked out of the vip2 house (the one near poblado parque) early because there was no housekeeping, breakfast, or security during his 3day visit.. So yes my next trip will be booked in the mansion, even though the construction there is becoming a big nuisance..

Just to clarify what has been said on this board.

My previous partner was a bit strict however Kevin and myself we are partiers from a long time ago, so to sum it up "Our main rule is party. Party, party and more power to all for you who like to party”.

Please stop by and see it for yourself and on a serious note stop crying and nagging like little children stating they charged me 1000 wow thats 50 cents you might go broke focus on the good things in life like a good piece of ass that you can stare for a long time that’s my drift.

And Greg I have that bottle of rum so we can drink it.

Well thanks amigo ... but I think CUBANUT might have me beat in the foto department :)

I've been into the non-pro scene mostly lately, so I haven't posted many fotos recently .... got burned once posting a non-pro foto, wasn't fun, won't do it agian :)

I've got trips to both Medellin and Venezuela on the horizon ... and i'll do some running around for sure ... so hopefully I'll have some new great stories and memories and fotos.

For now, off to Cali again ... to see the new novia :)

I would be guessing but I think we can agree that MOST of the men that frequent the Medellin Mansion/Castillo and Club VIP do so while being in pursuit of women in one way or another.

That being said, I believe that BOTH places have had beautiful Colombianas pass through their doors. And just to be sure, BOTH have had a skank or two as well pass through. But the majority of the girls are decent and have been a mixture of non-pro, semi pro, pro, prepagado, etc...

So please let's keep the debate in focus of the quality of facilities, services provided etc.. and not degregate the women who grace the premises.

My other claim to fame is meeting you and your buddies on YOUR maiden voyage to Colombia several years ago ... at the Mansion no less :)

As you know ... both these places, Mansion and/or VIP make these visits to Medellin more of a "frat party" style visit.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Some guys dig that atmosphere ... the male bonding and all mixed in with the chica hunt.

Without doubt they each have their advantages and drawbacks, just depends on your preferences..

Maybe that was some cornball rule from the previous owner. Albert, please elaborate if this was something in the past or not even true at all. Simply these guys have negative comments because you would not personally stand by their side and baby-feed them "stanks" and make sure the P4P did their job for these "can't pull non-pros", guys. And for anyone's information. NO ONE out lasted me and Maestro EVERYNIGHT until 5 or 6 am. It helps when you are 90% fluent in Spanish and know more about the Latin culture than any average Gringo would ever imagine. Mongered with the guys but anyone there can vouch, I had plenty of non-pros chasing me. Albert, what did Lena say everytime the phone rang. "Its for you, Durango". Many other guys as well had a pool of selection to choose from, but some choose to Monger more than go the novia route. I was definiately down with the fellas when it called to hit the monger action. Nice mixture and had a blast and thats why WE are all getting back down at the same time.

ONCE again, I have no negative comments about the Mansion except for the incident that happened with the girl getting thrown down a stairway. That is ridiculous, and the fact if you want to be around some (((not all))) obnoxious over bit horny guests that fondle everything that walks by, then you'll be fine. This is my opinion that I generated from several hours of study and UNRETURNED phone calls and emails to actually try and make a reservation there at one point several months ago. Good luck, Greg and I do actually honor you for having the ability to hand feed the over bit horny guest you attend. I actually got a glimpse while we were all at Mango's. Kudos out to you dude, for being the chica-medic those guys need.
