I am planning a trip soon toTBK. Have not been there since 12 years ago. Any regulars here who can join me. Going solo is no fun.

    Confirm locale?

Referring to the great reports some years ago and maps supplied by That Asshole post #322.

Is this the location of the Villa and Paya Labia complex that is mentioned?

    https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/1%C2%B000'48.9%22 N+103%C2%B025'13.6%22 E / at 1. 013585,103. 4198809,567 m / data=!3 m2!1 e3!4 b1!4 m5!3 m4!1 s0 x0:0 x0!8 m2!3 d1. 013585!4 d103.420448.

I could potentially stop over here a few days later in the year on my SG trip.

    What is Dead?

Is Tg Balai dead or only this thread is dead?

I stumbled onto this thread while researching for my upcoming trip to Bandung next month. I was interested because I go to Singapore 2-3 times a year and TBK is close by. I am intrigued by the primitive environment. It gives me a sense of adventure. I have rented motorcycles and explored places like Northern Thailand, Cambodia & Laos.

Unlike the many lazy people who ask dumb questions without making an effort to rtff, I read all 44 pages of this thread beginning on December 2005. Took me 3 days of casual reading and notes taking. One probably needs to read the most recent 20 pages to get all the information needed to make a trip.

Unfortunately, I don't have anymore time to squeeze a trip to TBK in March. I live in the USA. I hope to go on my next trip in July. I have two questions that were not touched on by posters. The first is: How is the internet / WiFi quality in the hotels? Since there's nothing else to do other than mongering, I can at least do some work if there is decent internet. So which hotels have bad or no internet?

Second question is about mosquitoes. I just cannot deal with them, especially when I sleep. Are all hotel rooms air conditioned? Even with A / see, do most room windows and doors have gaps & holes where mosquitoes can still come in? I find this to be common in Bali and Surabaya. Sometimes it got so bad that I have to use a bath towel to cover my entire face to sleep.

    Thanks, Funman13.

Since I am still looking for a "beachy" location to spend a few days: has anybody recently been here and can report whether there is still any decent activity? It sounds like there was quite a scene some years ago, but on the other hand almost no current reports available.

    Best regards,

    Thommy

Oh no. Dead scene over at TBK now?

Batam still OK IMHO, just prices inflated over the years.

Those days, LT was going at Rp 230K but at that time Rp forex rate was stronger, it worked out to be ard USD 40. From the latest threads I viewed the asking price now has increased 3 fold to Rp 700K but when I chk what's the equivalent now, it's actually ard USD 65. This is due to the depreciation of the Rp over the last 10 years.

Have not made any plans for a "reunion" with my grp members but juz curious to understand more about the current cheonging scene down there!

    Cheers to all brothers!

    Massage in balai

I was planning to go to Kundur, but didn't feel in the mood, as I heard that it has died the cheong scene there, I'll confirm tomorrow, so instead I booked Netty from sakura, again the massage there is all good and strong. Netty doesn't look exactly like picture but sufficiently presentable. When I wanted to fuck I was told she was on menstruation. A HJ was 100, a naked HJ she wanted 200 so I said don't worry.

I also tried Yaya. She doesn't look like picture so I passed on extra.

I also tried Tina. She looks kinda like the picture, prob only a 6. No breast but a tight pussy and a good BJ. And willing to fuck, she seemed to like it, and I gave her a cof. Cost 300+60massage.

Overall not exactly good value. Given I need to buy a visa Indonesia and I need to fly to Singapore then boat. Not exactly a good option for someone like myself.

I had time to window browse so again checked out Rukko and villa at 2pm. I was afraid all the girls would be gone, but given taht on Tuesday the girls were still plentiful at 3pm, I was hoping. But alas, they were all gone, even the shops taht had oldies and fatties were empty. And so if you don't mind fucking fat women approaching 40. The Balai is for you.

    Balai updates

    Hi,

I'm currently in Balai and I have some updates, and hopefully someone can correct me if I have made some misconceptions.

I arrived at Balai 10am checked in at hotel Sangrila, also checked out hotel Gambion. Cost 160k per night.

I didn't really see the hotel driver offer to drive me to villa or rukko. And given that they usually get a commission I decided to make my own way there. There was a member named that Asshole who posted a map, whilst the map wasn't exactly easily to follow, those with a bit of common sense should be able to walk there. Took me about 30-45mins to walk. Not far but not close. On the way back I took a yellow mirolet, cost 4k.

Villa, I mostly saw old or fat girls a few younger ones acted totally disinterested or were 5-6 in looks, so nothing really caught my eye, maybe ill look again another day. But overall in my perception a place for very old men or desperate men.

Rukko, again tyeh same old or fat girls. Tho I saw two that was passable. I wasnt really in the mood to book, so that day I was just testing the waters, a MILF wanted 700k a bargain down to 550, a younger girl was told the price was 1 mill but I didn't try to bargain hard asked for 500k but the okt said was 1mill, maybe next time bargain for 700k. But given that it is still over 50usd for the booking its not exactly a bargain given otehr options in the region. Like the Phillipines and Myrmmar, Vietnam etc.

I went to Bravo disco. Again plenty of girls younger but very plain looking, didn't bother to ask price.

I took a massage at Sakura. A pleasant looking girl 50k for 1hr massage, I tried to get extra in the shop, she said cannot in shop have to do massage in hotel. She said she wanted 300k. In shop I mananged to grab her breas,t suck the nipples and slip my hands in her jeans. Massage for 50k no tip for 1hr is very good value, she wanted a tip but I joked I'll give her a tip when she comes to my room.

Today I went to Rukko again as I didn't know where Paya Labu is, I figured the ojeks around there would definately know where it was, one wanted 150. In bargain down to 50k. We rode in the direction of Merkal. When we got to Paya Labu. Further discussion was informed that there was no Cari ayam there, no girls to sex. It was just a ordinarly poor village. So I want to know, is this correct that Paya Labu is no longer a chicken village.

    Avoid Villa 11

Came to Tanjung Balai after reading some threads and thought that I am sufficiently prepared. My conclusion is that it's not worth the time and effort coming here. Indonesian girls in Jakarta although more expensive have much better service attitude.

Anyway if anyone does come here, must heed the forum advice and go really early because I reached Villa around mid afternoon and there were only 1 or 2 girls in each house. Finally settled for 1 at Villa 11 because she was doing lots of marketing of good service, etc and so did the papi. Anyway the girl's name is Erlin from Bandung.

Anyway to cut a long story short, service in hotel turned out to be terrible. A few rounds of BBBJ and wanted to move quickly to the penetration to get it all over and done with. Cannot this and that. Ordered a big dinner from hotel restaurant (I didn't mind) but after that wanted to go out to disco by herself without me (what the F! Obviously trying to earn more money and taking me for the fool).

I was quite pissed off but didn't turn violent or anything like that becos previously had a bad experience in Batam when girl tried to malign me. This time this girl quite smart. While I was still working on my computer, she called her papi to come over to bring her back. Sure enough when he turned up, she did a good acting job of crying, etc. Papi is a bloody useless fella and just sided with his girl, even turned angry on me for "bullying" her girl (what the F!).

My advice is this. Don't go to places like Batam and Tijuana Balai because these are really lower-end places where the girls are not of good quality, paid little and generally have bad attitude. If you must go, avoid Villa 11.
