I also neglected another very minor point 🙄 . For a late night arrival, Walking Street will be well. . . . Walking Street ie no vehicular access to drop you off at the hotel door so you will be walking your bags WS's length to your hotel anyway.
Enjoy. G.

Posts: 4567This is exactly what I did on my last trip, so let me add to what 87 has written.
I landed at Terminal 2 so needed to get to T3. The Genesis bus only goes to T3. The free shuttle had a long line. I went out of Terminal 2 to find an alternative. One guy tried to get me into a taxi and said the bus wouldn't come for another hour. Ten minutes later a Premium bus pulled up. I asked the driver if he stopped at T3. He waves me on. I ask, what time do you leave. He answers "one fifty". Tired from my five-hour flight, I looked at my watch and it says 3 pm. Took me a moment of thought, but he apparently was telling me the price. So off we went to T3 for P150. Too far to walk, BTW. Got on the Genesis bus.
Late afternoon and traffic was bad. We spent over an hour on EDSA blvd. I was beginning to regret my choice, but once we finally got on the highway it was smooth sailing.
I had hoped the Genesis bus would drop us off somewhere near the SM Mall jeepney terminal (east end of the mall). It didn't. It dropped us off at the west end. I walked to my hotel near Fields. Walking is doable, but the suitcase wheels took a beating, and luckily it wasn't too hot, nor was it raining.
In conclusion, I will probably stick to my usual itinerary which would be a night in Manila and then the Swagman bus (p 600) to AC (drop off at hotel). Nevertheless, it's nice to have another transportation alternative.

Personally, I'd just put the $55 towards a comfortable door to door transfer and leave straight from the airport, bypassing a night in Manila.
If you are looking to save cash then like for like accommodation is cheaper in AC anyway and you will arrive in time to find a bed mate or have an early night and be onsite, ready to go first thing in the morning.
Enjoy. G.

Flying into Manila but leaving next morning for Angeles. Need a mid priced hotel (say 55 -70 US) with decent buffet bfast just crash for 1 night.
Does the location make a difference, when leaving for Angeles, that is next morning?
Have stayed in Pasay near MOA, this was fairly close to airport which meant fairly short trip from plane flight.
Not looking to monger in Manila saving $$ for Angeles.
I arrive at 5 pm so is staying in Manila a better option than straight to Angeles vs peak hour traffic?
NI.

The owner I had has a few condos there and is easy to deal with. He'll meet you upon checkin (if required) then you will never see him again. Say you have been to MnL before and you don't even need to met him. He will send a proforma email / SMS with info on how everything works. Security are cool with guests, just keep it low key. My condo had a clothes washer dryer which is a big plus if you are out walking in Mnl heat and humidity.
ID have no problem staying there again.
Enjoy. G.

I'm looking to book an airbnb condo near Greenbelt, I think it's the Excelsior. Before going to the payments page, it showed a list of rules by the host, a few that concern us are as follows:
- "All illegal activities are strictly prohibited. ".
- "The building practices strict security rules and anyone who is not registered will not be allowed to enter the condominium. ".
This can be interpreted in 2 ways:
1) Very strict: The host knows exactly what he / she's talking about (can't bring girls in).
2) Kinda loose: "illegal activities" could mean lots of things not just P4P. I read some previous posts saying it depends on how strict the guard is. The second rule could also mean that since I myself am registered, it'd be OK for me to bring a friend and register him / her if needed. It'd be hard to imagine that people who live in the condo can't bring friends over.
What do you guys think? Should I be worried?
BTW I don't want to ask the host to clarify if I can bring a friend, I don't want to give any hint that can lead to misunderstanding.

If you go to EDSA from COD after 10 pm it won't take very long at all. It took me 15 minutes, from the airport, on my last trip. I think I got through immigration around 11:30 pm. Still, by the time you get there the good girls will either be bar fined, or will have returned from their ST bar fine. Just try not to think about sloppy seconds.
You really want to be at EDSA by 7:30 to see the best girls, even though some of them will already be reserved for the night. A mamasan on my last trip told me that Japanese arrive from the homeland on Thursday night, spend the weekend in Manila and return Sunday night, FWIW.

Appreciate your suggestions. I'll hit up EDSA on my first day, follow it up with LAC, and then stay closer to Burgos on my return.
Regarding pizza and escorts: Even if I don't pull from notable places like LAC, I like to go and see what they're about. It's interesting to me to see the places I read about so that I can identify with people.
Again, thanks for the feedback!

The alternative is to pick a girl from the clubs in CoD, but that is a hit and miss chance. A casino girl can be a good bet too, definitely a better one than LAC.
