Flying into Manila but leaving next morning for Angeles. Need a mid priced hotel (say 55 -70 US) with decent buffet bfast just crash for 1 night.
Does the location make a difference, when leaving for Angeles, that is next morning?
Have stayed in Pasay near MOA, this was fairly close to airport which meant fairly short trip from plane flight.
Not looking to monger in Manila saving $$ for Angeles.
I arrive at 5 pm so is staying in Manila a better option than straight to Angeles vs peak hour traffic?
NI.

The owner I had has a few condos there and is easy to deal with. He'll meet you upon checkin (if required) then you will never see him again. Say you have been to MnL before and you don't even need to met him. He will send a proforma email / SMS with info on how everything works. Security are cool with guests, just keep it low key. My condo had a clothes washer dryer which is a big plus if you are out walking in Mnl heat and humidity.
ID have no problem staying there again.
Enjoy. G.

I'm looking to book an airbnb condo near Greenbelt, I think it's the Excelsior. Before going to the payments page, it showed a list of rules by the host, a few that concern us are as follows:
- "All illegal activities are strictly prohibited. ".
- "The building practices strict security rules and anyone who is not registered will not be allowed to enter the condominium. ".
This can be interpreted in 2 ways:
1) Very strict: The host knows exactly what he / she's talking about (can't bring girls in).
2) Kinda loose: "illegal activities" could mean lots of things not just P4P. I read some previous posts saying it depends on how strict the guard is. The second rule could also mean that since I myself am registered, it'd be OK for me to bring a friend and register him / her if needed. It'd be hard to imagine that people who live in the condo can't bring friends over.
What do you guys think? Should I be worried?
BTW I don't want to ask the host to clarify if I can bring a friend, I don't want to give any hint that can lead to misunderstanding.

If you go to EDSA from COD after 10 pm it won't take very long at all. It took me 15 minutes, from the airport, on my last trip. I think I got through immigration around 11:30 pm. Still, by the time you get there the good girls will either be bar fined, or will have returned from their ST bar fine. Just try not to think about sloppy seconds.
You really want to be at EDSA by 7:30 to see the best girls, even though some of them will already be reserved for the night. A mamasan on my last trip told me that Japanese arrive from the homeland on Thursday night, spend the weekend in Manila and return Sunday night, FWIW.

Appreciate your suggestions. I'll hit up EDSA on my first day, follow it up with LAC, and then stay closer to Burgos on my return.
Regarding pizza and escorts: Even if I don't pull from notable places like LAC, I like to go and see what they're about. It's interesting to me to see the places I read about so that I can identify with people.
Again, thanks for the feedback!

The alternative is to pick a girl from the clubs in CoD, but that is a hit and miss chance. A casino girl can be a good bet too, definitely a better one than LAC.

Now down to the important stuff:
Aside from the 2 nightclubs (Pangea & Chaos) in COD located on the 2nd floor that I and others have reviewed, you will be in close proximity to the EDSA Entertainment Complex (RTFF). I like the EDSA bar scene. You are also in relatively close proximity to LA Cafe etc. I don't particularly like LA Cafe, but it is a scene. My advice would be to take a look in LA Cafe around 1 am after you have barfined and enjoyed a ST session with an EDSA bar girl first. A taxi to Burgos will most likely take 50 to 60 minutes. A taxi to Airforce One & Flight 168 spa is probably only 35 minutes. AF1 might be something to consider if you are not happy with the talent level at LA Cafe. I would skip Burgos while you are staying at COD. I would also recommend booking a Makati Hotel like the Fairmont or the Peninsula as long as "$ is not really an issue" for your return to Manila so you can check out Burgos.
I can still recall my cherry boy 1st visit to the PI. You are going to have a gas.

Posts: 333Nobu Hotel. City of Dreams
Hi! My virgin trip is upcoming. $ is not really an issue and I like casinos, so I booked the Nobu hotel at COD. I've rtff and realize that this is far from some of the action, but I decided the time and taxi cost were worth it to stay at a place I wanted to stay at anyway.
I'm only staying here one night, then off to ABC in AC for a couple of nights, then back to Manila. (I'll make the hotel decision for my return after experiencing this.) Between the two nights in Manila I want to at least check out Havana, LA Cafe, Burgos, etc.
Apart from reports that this is a nice place and that a Korean casino girl wanted 8 k, I can't really find any other tips or suggestions for someones staying here. Apart from "stay somewhere else," any info or feedback about staying here? The plan is likely to pull from somewhere else and bring them back (rather than trying to find a casino girl).

If you wanted to avoid even this inconvenience I'm sure that a reassuring word to security that you know and trust all your visitors over the next week would work. Of course, you would then be exposed to the security concerns that the ID checks as designed to prevent.
A while ago I did ask if there were ANY non GF hotels in the Philippines. From memory, replies identified 3 in the whole country. LOL.
Cheers, G.
