At those prices, recommend Pan Pacific by far. Pan Pac has very very comfy rooms and better location (closer to Robinson's). Enjoy Manila, AR

    Short Time Hotel Makati

Need any specific info on short time hotels in proximity for Greenbelt. Someplace cheap I can take a Club Havana girl for a 1-2 hour shag. The Eurotel Makati has let me down a couple times now. Either fully booked or only has premium stay awhile rates (p880 for 4 hours!).

There must be more places up Pasay Road with all the Japanese clubs or around Burgos with the clubs there. Anything specific would be most appreciated. Post or PM. Thanks, AsianRain

    Close to Diamond Hotel

If the company pays, stay there. If you have to pay and want something cheaper, but only one block away, stay at Palm Plaza, Executive Plaza, or Las Palmas (my favorite). All three have same owners (if things haven't changed in 3 yrs.). Not nearly as classy as the Diamond, but cheap and girl friendly.

It is a 4 or 5 star hotel well patronised by both Korean and Japanese business men.

Girl-friendly too, and has a great Skyline restaurant.

If your meeting includes accommodation as part of the deal, then stay there. It is not too far to MBC or the Mall and other attractions that are well-detailed elsewhere in these threads.

I once used one of those to crash out one morning following an early morning arrival at the airport, was able to nap for a few hours while waiting for the next step.
    To Finrod

I think for hotel with about same price range and location the Rothman inn and Rivera mansion just around the corner are better, the room is larger with bigger bed and mini bar is about 1400 p a night no breakfast but they are alway full so book in advanced.

    Good location, though.
    To Ezinho.

Eurotel is a very basic motel double bed is too small and mattress is hard and no mini bar or frig, I stay there once and never again and I did see the breakfast and past.

I stayed at the Makati branch. For 4 nights in October. Good price of $43 and great location. Easy to find a taxi. Only negative was difficult to get a room with a window.

    My mistake Stunning.

    As usual you are 'korek'.

I checked it out today. It's 4 hours (not 5 hours) but the rate varies depending on the room type.

Sorry for misleading. That 1 hour might make a lot of difference

Eurotel is nicer than Sogo as well and you do of course get the wall photo murals of scenes from around the world (although in Studio Rooms you get a smaller mural). They are excellent as a colourful backdrop to photo shoots, which I imagine is the reason they are there, and feature in many of my photos. My favourite is the London Westminster backdrop, although I haven't had that one for quite some time.

You can ask for their discount card after your first stay there. This entitles you to, I think, a 20% discount in your rate although if you have a live-in partner it might be wise not to bother or else hide it in the deepest, darkest corner of your wallet.

Agreed Ezinho. Location is excellent, especially as a short-term place.

My first time in there it was a 350 php for 3 hours in a very clean and comfortable room.

Definitely a good chain to use for short-time dalliances and even overnight stays. Check out www.eurotel-hotel.com

I have used Pedro Gil, Makati, North EDSA and Araneta Cubao branches
