Dear all,

Will be back in Manila for a quick trip of 2 nights to see a friend who is staying with family in Ascott Makati. Any suggestions as to hotel for Girl Friendly angle, as I want to bring back some one for the night.

Stayed close to La Cafe last time. Looking to get someone from there again.

Stay in Makati near your friend (but not same hotel) and try Havana or Burgos or wechat FL. Hotels are New World / Peninsular or even Holiday Inn. Jinjang Inn slightly cheaper and not so nice.

I wouldn't stay at the friends hotel. All hotels are girl friendly. Book your room for 2 people. Always walk into the hotel like the girl is a long time friend and no one will notice.

You are staying at an upscale hotel, so learn to discreetly "palm" your tip and shake hands with the doorman / security person, if you haven't yet. Best to palm / hand shake tip anywhere.

I get a girl in hop Inn Makati without any ID. We just walked in, noone asked anything.

Personally with a P4 P girl I feel better if they ask for ID and check with you when they leave. Nice ti know that the desk has your back.

Depends on how much you value $100?

$100 compared to what? $100 = LT. I like LT.

Raffles is the most upscale place I've ever stayed in the Philippines. The room furnishings / accoutrements are beautiful; the floor butlers pretty much attend to most requests instantly and the privacy is absolute. That said, I don't think the price difference between Raffles and the Fairmont (same location / attached buildings) is worth it. I've never stayed in the Pen so can't comment on the specific difference about which you asked.

BTW for an old red planet enthusiast I found hop Inn really better. Room is very big compared to rp, good amenities and half price.

Hop Inn rooms are bigger but I love the RP showers. Therefore I stay at RP.

I never stayed in Raffles. I enjoyed the Peninsula and didn't have any problems with girls but Raffles has a better location for getting around. I thought the Peninsula was a great price for what it offered. Nice bar by the pool.

Did you RTFF as there is plenty on the options and GFE all through the threads. AS you last FR was 2016 asking about hotels in Thailand am sure you are busy and can't RTFF and write FRs?

I stayed one night to see how the hotel was. Decent size room. Amazingly quiet AirCon that cools the room. Good location and price.

Drawback for me is no coffee shop in or near the hotel. Big drawback for me.

Took the night off and didn't bring any girls back to the room. However at checkin I asked it bringing 2 girls back was ok. The answer was any girls will need an ID. Period. No waivers for no ID. On way they allow a girl without ID is if you put her name down when you check in.

If your tendencies run towards freelancers I can recommend this hotel. A couple of minutes walking from LA Cafe and with loads of other places nearby. Decent sized rooms, aircon, fast wifi, large shower with warm water, free breakfast, clean and cheap.

Years ago, I was cautioned about staying there by a well meaning friend who was worried about all the riffraff and going ONS in and around there. So, it is not mandatory to have a girl stay with you at the hotel.

Edsa Shangrila. Couldn't find anything on this hotel. Anyone stayed there or knows about whether it is guest friendly.
