Posts: 3040Everyone has a different set of priorities and levels of risk aversion. Go with what makes you happy. I prefer hotels with no ID checks or any limitations on the number of girls. Total Guest Friendly! So far I have stayed at the Fairmont, the New World Makati, Hyatt City of Dreams, Sofitel, Diamond and Pan Pacific. All were 100% guest friendly with no ID checks and no limits on the number of girls. The Peninsula too was also guest friendly when I stayed there a couple of years ago, but recently 2 BM's have reported differently. I would keep that under advisement.
The only walk of shame I can think of is if I were to take a couple of dogs up to my room or if I went out one night in MNL, struck out, and came back to my hotel empty handed. Believe it or not, that happened to me on my first night ever in AC! After a series of misses and one false start with a cherry girl, I returned to the ABC empty handed at 2 am. The friendly doorman even smiled and said, "what, no girl?" I was mortified and so ashamed! Ha Ha Ha. But I slept on it and the next day I recalibrated my AC MO (different from the MO I use in Thailand and MNL) and picked up a nice Perimeter girl that afternoon and it has been smooth sailing ever since.

On any given day in a hotel in Manila maybe 20/30/50 guests bring companions back. I often think those who are scared of the walk of shame shouldn't partake in our activities. What do they do in the room? Er Um "Please may I stick my cock into your pussy, if that's ok? Remember no one really cares and if they do its for about 5 secs. Anyway I like when they take their ID and ring before they leave. Its security for you.

Posts: 4567New phone numbers in Manila
I just realized that my MNL hotel phone number list is out of date. Apparently they are using eight digits now.

Daytime visitors are not checked. So if you want two girls get one in the daytime and let her stay in the room and bring other one anytime.

You say Metro Manila so you are OK with Laguna, Cavite, Tondo, Divisoria Batangas, etc also as all part of Metro Manila.

My first two hotels in Manila, each called up to confirm arrival and then called to confirm departure, never had a departure confirmation since but it was a nice safety touch.

Posts: 1Hotel with light policies concerning guests
Can you guys recommend any hotel within the Metro Manila vicinity that isn't strict and allows guests to proceed directly to my room without any need for signing up. Thanks.

I have been at Makati Diamond multiple times, and I find it much better than many of the five star hotels.
Proximity to greenbelt, good food, nice gym and free beer and chips.

I was going to stay at the Shangri La, but CSP said it was looking a little tired and run down. Another monger wrote that the Peninsula also needs a refurbishment. I ended up changing my booking to the New World Makati. It's in a very convenient location across the road from Greenbelt. Burgos Street is a 80 peso cab ride away. During peak times, like 6. 00 pm, it is a lot quicker to walk to Burgos than taking the taxi.
It's a generic, vanilla flavoured five star pile. You could be anywhere in the world. There are no distinguishing features. All rather bland really. But terrific service, everything works, nice gym, nice pool and nice business centre. It's mainly all male business guests. Saw a few Chinese tour groups who come to mop up the expensive brand name goods at Greenbelt.
I did not eat at the hotel, so can't comment on food service. I hate hotel buffets and will happily travel 20 miles to avoid them.
Very hooker friendly. You can take as many hookers as you like up and down the elevators all day, every day and no one will care. I took in two of the most disgusting slappers you can find and they just called them "ma'am". No need to sign them in, but you do need to meet them in then lobby as it's a secure elevator. Too bad, you can't avoid that walk of shame. LOL.

In Makati I stayed at the Herald Suites on Polaris. It's an older hotel but adequate. Great location, 1- 2 minute walk to Bottoms, many places to eat close by. According to their information guide, you can drink the tap water. I didn't, but good to know. Breakfast was good and not the usual buffet. You get your choice of I believe 4 different choices, good because it's made after you order it. The room is average with good hot water but the shower is with the bathtub so not a lot of room for two persons. It is girl friendly but you must register the girl. No added fee. Best feature, price. It was only $35.00 usd before taxes a night.
In Pasay I stayed at the Citadine bay city Manila. This is more of a luxury hotel with a price to match. It was still cheaper than say the Conrad which was close by. I believe I paid $105.00 usd a night. This hotel has a gym a a big swimming pool. Girl friendly and you don't need to register the girl. About a 10 minute walk to the edsa center when not raining (see my report). The hotel seem fairly new and breakfast was included. They had the buffet for breakfast. No complaints at all about this hotel as long as you don't mind the price point. I also picked this hotel because it was closer to the airport for my last nights in Manila.
