I stayed here Dec 29th through 31st. It is right next to St. Giles. They share a wall. When I first arrived, I hasd this sinking feeling, but it all got put to rest very quickly.

Hotel staff is extremely friendly, and very helpful. If you left your bag unattended, they immediately pounce on it, and let you know you are not supposed to be doing that. They keep a close eye on the tenants. Which is very good. The security / doorman are very skilled and very experienced.

It is girl friendly. My girl did not get carded when I escorted her. As I passed through the door, the doorman checked her over, and asked me if I was ok. I said fine, and up we went.

It is more like a Suite than anything else. It has a full fledged kitchen. A little outdated, but very clean, and the bed is awesome. I got a twin bed room. But it had one queen and one twin. Used the queen for my activities, and the twin to sleep on by myself.

This hotel has a rooftop restaurant and pool. The pool is small, but one at the rooftop overlooking most of Manila is very cool. The rooftop restaurant is not very expensive and decent food. You want to impress a girl, take here here. What a view. The dusk light masks the smog, so go up just slightly before dark, and it is an amazing site.

These are just my opinion of this hotel, not trying to sell anyone on it.

As most of you know, it is walking distance to Burgos. Outside the front door of this hotel, tons of girls just lurking around. Beware of the ladyboys.

On the walk to Burgos, I passed a small pharmacy which had a note on the wall, with Viagra information. I asked how much and can I take a look. Having dispensed medicine at my bro's clinic when I was young, I know when something is fake. This is the genuine stuff. I bought a 25mg pill for 500 Pesos.

The pill lasted approximately 5 hours, and my dingdong was so big, it hurt afterwards. But I made full use of it though.

I don't think you will find a room in January in the Lotus Garden.

Still plenty of rooms available in January. On booking. Com a superior room incl. Breakfast is 7800 PHP.

Best Western La Corona and

Lotus Garden.

Based on the posts in this forum, both of these hotels are GF. They are about the same distance from MBC and Robinson Mall.

However, the Best Western does NOT have an operational elevator. The elevator repairs will be completed in February.

This means forced exercise depending on the floor.

I am looking for feedback or other pros / cons so that I can make my final Hotel selection.

Just booked 1 night there. For my 1 day layover. It looks to be in good location to bars and entertainment. Anybody confirm this.

I also stayed at Copacabana early this year and met a girl I met on online. This girl was 19. However, on my other trips, I met lots of older ladies in person that I had met online. The last one I met in Manila was in her late 40s, sweet, and sexy. I like your pic, thanks for posting it. It reminds of many of the Filipinas I have had that are older and willing to please. Plus, no guys in the Philippines pay any attention to older women. When they find a guy from another country who likes them, they are as happy as can be. And, they will do everything you like, just to keep you happy.

As for me, I keep a supply of young and older women, I like to change up from time to time. When not have both young women and older women in the Philippines. I find that the supply of women there are endless, especially with the online dating website listing 1, 000s of filipinas. Enjoy!

Last time I was there I met a 21 year old and a 40 year old. I thought the 21 would me better at sex but I found them to be the same the diference betewwn them is I enjoyed the company of the older lady much more maybe becase I am older and we have more in common. The lady would do everything for me but when she started cutting my food at the restaurant that was to much. When I went back to the states it was hard to go back to normal life. Can't wait for my next trip to manila and then to Indonesia.

I for one who will not date old women. All older women come with baggage. Older women in dating sites are looking for support. It is possible they want to make the man happy and will do anything. They have stiff competition from young girls for affection with a foreigner. I would not mind supporting a young girl and keeping her as a gf rather than having a old woman supporting me. Very few rich old women will be on dating sites.

Stayed at the Copacabana a couple nights before heading to Butuan. They will turn on the hot water when you get there, so you have to wait a bit for a hot shower. Air conditioner was more than adequate for the room. I booked through Agoda and when I arrived I still had to make a 2000 peso deposit, although they gave all of it back without any complaints. This place is definitely GF friendly. I have included a view of the EDSA complex from the 8th floor. Here is a picture of the MILF I had met online before going. I was going to dump her after one night, but not only was she very skilled, but when she discovered how little money I had brought with me, she started buying me stuff too! Even said that she was willing to support me if I wanted to come back to the Philippines on a more permanent basis.

I stayed at the malayan hotel recently. I usually stay at the Linden Suites, which is close to malayan.

Both have suites, with a kitchen, which I like.

I search both through Agoda, and take whichever is cheapest. Either of both will frequently have a 50% reduction in price, so they become good value for money.

As RK points out, there is effectively no mongering scene in Ortigas, however my mate, who has worked there a lot, swears that there is a pickup bar within 2 blocks of malayan.

Every female in the Philippines knows where the SM Megamall is, so it makes for a very good place for meet-ups. Then a short walk to the hotel.

Even better to meet up at the Podium mall, it is closer still. But the girls tend to not know where it is, so I have them take a taxi, and I meet them there and pay the taxi fare.

And they love the suites. Sofas are great places for impolsive loving, large screen TVs, big fridge which I stock well. I hook my media player to the big screen TV so that we have access to movies, music, porn, karaoke.

For me, they are both a good deal.

Malayan Plaza is gf and is quite comfortable too.

The good news is that it is easy walking distance from your hotel to 4 big malls (SM Megamall, Shangri La Mall, Podium (across the road) and Robinson's Galleria.

The bad news is that there is no mongering scene in Ortigas Center and the malls are not pick up places unlike Robinson's Place in Malate.

Very few freelancers around so you need to take a taxi to Makati to get to the "scene".

Mondays and Fridays traffic is horrendous so I hope you are not here on those days.

All other days it will be around a 30 to 40 minute ride and 120 to 150 piso on the meter taxi. All taxis around Ortigas are reputable and the drivers are friendly and you will have no hassles with them.

The variation in taxi price comes in the time it takes. When you come back at night at around 12 midnight to 2 am or later it will be a 10 min trip for around 100 pisos non-stop.
