I tried Somerset it was OK and I would go again. Basically when you are mongering you need a nice room, clean sheets and a large enough shower (for hopefully 3 people :D)

Sometimes I get 2 hotels so any girl that becomes too 'attached' does not turn up at the hotel unexpectedly or waits outside. So I say am leaving Manila etc and then check in elsewhere.
Yes, prices I quoted were for two nights - but even so I thought the one night rate was too high. Have been via asiarooms, expedia, ebookers and prices all seem to be at this type of rates :( Looking for 6-8th Feb.

Cheers for thoughts. Will elt you know where I end up and the 'fun'.

    Oritgas all you want !!!

Ok you have 2 or 3 clubs there, about 1 klm away from manila direction from the shopping center.

Not sure about bar fine but here is the low down ok.

1st club face to face : entrance minium to beers 70 peso okay. LD glass i thnil 240 but be cafe 450 if bottle watch for the switch. have vip rooms 1200 pseo for 1 hour includes 3 beer s for you and 4 LD i think or maybe 2 beers and 3 ld but who drinks this anyway. Chat to girl between 1000 and 1500 ok but will ask for 2000.

papasun is gay blading guy chat to him tell him what you like! he will go get the girls one at a time. One dancer on stage then change. a lot of janpanese and koreans so get there early 9.30pm. later around midnight candle wax shows etc. but don't get conned into letting them do it to you as they have oil on so it does not hurt but the men they get up on stage don't and burns like hell. also most totally nude dancing show you everything.

Quality of girl Hm i left this to last. well it would rank up near Aeana in cebu.
I was shocked to see in such a small town. I did say to this girl 5'6" hair to waste 45 kg 34 b tits. that why is she here as she could easly get work in the top clubs in manila. Answer was its close to home and she use to work at mystique which is a top club.

example of how it is there she had to dance left me did 3 dances and totally nude lovely pussy showing in front of the Koreans, then left the stage holding her dress( the size of a hanky) in front of her pussy. Walked over to me gave me the biggest kiss and then sat down to finish her drink still completly naked it was so cool. well after that went to VIP room LOLhad some fun.

Club okay many sofa's seats a little warm but yes aircond, vip 1 i had 2 large sofas tv great aircond .

the next club is 500 meters opposite side of the road further up, called nightshift! that was the club i intended to go but never got there as my reports said it was better than face to face!
How recent is this report ! November 2007 So its very accurate, as i said i don't know about bar fine, but my experience is money talks. don't forget give papasun drink he will look after you, the girl promised me to say she was good to papasun.! hm thats different

Best of luck hope this helps you. Maybe i should post this in other areas , but its still manila right

My definition of "girl friendly" involves taking a girl to the room to "visit" for two hours when you have paid for single occupancy. In some places there is virtually no difference in price between single and double occupancy, but at some places there's considerable difference.

Thanks for the note about slower transactions with this outfit.

Linden suites is classy boutique hotel, I have stayed there, its nice.
Since its in Ortigas Its half way to any of the entertainment districts. Ermita or Makati. So be prepared for some longish taxi rides.

Im not sure what you are asking..
Are you wanting to know how to slip out for a quick root some where?
    Am I right?
Or can you bring something to your room?
If you are time poor & well healed shoot over to P. Burgos, pay a ridiculous amount of money for a woman there either in a booth or bring home for the night.
If you have more time you can go browsing elsewhere.

    Happy mongering

While we're on the topic, has anybody stayed at the Pearl Manila and have a sense whether it's girl friendly? It's a little too far to ask the girls from LA Cafe to walk, but its location is great for business I may end up doing near Taft and UN Avenue for my day job. I'd feel dumb taking a cab there from LA, but the girls would probably appreciate the cab.
Agoda is ok, i have used them but in comparison to Asiarooms.com they are slow. Asiarooms.com is good prices & FAST efficient reservations in my experience.

Pearl manila is ok by Manila standards but you may want to try other hotels depending on you budget/time frame.

Taxi's? Use them, this is Asia, save yourself hassles & save energy for later ;)

    City Garden Suites Ermita

World Guy Sh, there is no need to pay US$104 for each night of a two night stay. Locate the hotel's online reservations facility and pay about US475 per night for an excellent fourth or seventh floor one bedroom suite. There is even a DVD, but no swimming pool as only City Gardens Makati (not Ermita) has latter. If staying for a week, then pay a much cheaper P19600 for a one bedroom suite but do avail of this you need to telephone the hotel as the online reservations facility does not extend to weekly or longer stays ata discounted rate. You will not go hungry as Robinsons Mall is 300 metres away: for socialising, G Point is 150 metres away and LA Cafe about 400 metres distant.

    Another online source for hotels

From time to time people have posted links to various online hotel reservation systems. Here's another one. I came across it for the first time recently.

Yeah, had to do that a few times in BKK and Manila. One time left one hotel, dropped the girl off at the airport (she flew in from the province) the taxi driver thought he was taking me to the international airport after that, but we went straight to pick up second girl and go to the second hotel.

Always nice to have a back up just in case. Somerset is usually my main stay, Dusit is usually my back up, the reseravtion lady and me are good friends by now.

Having read that pretty much ALL Manila hotels are GF so not so worried about that (please correct me if I select a dud below)

So was thinking of the following options (costs for two nights) which is best value?

    Bellagio $128 (total)
    Oxford Suites $198 Junior Suite
City Garden $204 Exec delux double
    Somerset Millenium $200 Studio Executive
    Dusit Niko $234 Standard
    Renaissance Makati City Hotel $310

Pushing the boat way out with that last one. Will report back in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime be grateful for any views

    Two Nights In Manila

Staying in Manila for two nights in a couple of weeks. Thought I would do one night on Burgos and one night at EDSA with a bit of sightseeing during the day.
