You and I and a few others would understand. But the 50 minute <500 pesos fuxkers, not so. LOL.

Hope the guy has a great time with his GF here.

I can understand coming from Dubai the need to ask about girl friendly hotels. To be precise he should have asked if marriage license is required.

You are lucky CM hasnt given you some basement bargain advice so far. Refer to rule #1.

Anyway, thanks for all the help guys. I am well aware of the scammers in PHP and I know she's not. I guess seasoned tourists have a very low outlook of filipinas in general although my gf was one of kindest souls i ve known.
I hope you don't mind my saying, but this is what happens when you ask non mongering questions on a mongering site. Everyone assumes you are mongering even when you are not mongering. Even though she is your true love of 5 years, all the mongers here just expect your girl to be a hooker. You might find good non mongering type answers on Trip Advisor, Google Reveiws or similar sites.

All the best. Hope you have a good time.

The way your first post was written it was assumed you are looking for a low level girlfriendly hotel to keep your girl from provinces and possible get another girl from Manila. Why else you want a girlfriendly hotel? Anywhere in the world if you book a room for two you and your girl can stay together except Saudi Arabia maybe (never went there). If you are just staying with one girl register her along with you and nobody will say anything. If she is coming to Manila and hoping to get a job in Dubai she needs to pay agency fee of roughly 25000 pesos. Maybe she is hoping you will help her. Her earned money possibly vanished.

I am chatting with a girl who needs 25000 pesos she says for a job in Saudi Arabia. If anybody is interested pm me. I can just give you her name in DIA and after that you can chat with her and see. She said she is already offered a job. This conversation happened because I told her I will be in Manila in April and she said she maybe in Saudi by then. I was not going to pay the whole amount but part of it for fun which she agreed. You negotiate on your own.

And why Manila? I think nobody really likes Manila (except for the pussy). It's a terrible place. Why not go to a nicer place, like Borocay or Palawan or whatever?

Why is everyone so sceptical? Maybe she does want to love him long time.

I want her to feel safe.

It's a big plus for me if the condo has a washer and drier for both wet spot removal and frequent changes of smelly clothes in 100% humidity.

If girlie is going to want to cook, make sure there is a rice cooker in the kitchen. I'd agree that she will enjoy cooking for you and it also ensures she has access to food that she actually likes. I've seen many provincial girls not enjoy a 5 star western meal.

Yes. Have rarely been stopped anywhere in Phils in this manner. You are simply bringing up multiple guests to your room for a few hours, no different than if you brought your GF and her son in to swim in the pool. Have had as many as 6 girls in tow. However, that's not to mean that it can't happen where they stop you and force you to register the extra girl. Registering is usually a matter of filling out a form (no extra money) for the extra person. For clarity's sake, we have mentioned on many occasions on this board, when you book the room, make sure to book it for TWO people. If the hotel or website offers a discount for one person, and you book it as such, then yes you have screwed yourself should you bring in a bedmate (or two), extra charges might apply (as in doubling your rate).

For those not familiar, getting a hotel room in Mexico (or central America) by yourself pretty much excludes you bringing an extra person (charges apply). This is the standard, the front desk looks forward to charging you for each guest you bring in. Example: I pay $50 for the room for the night, then later I bring up a ST girl, and the clerk demands a joiner fee. A few hours later I bring in another ST girl, and there is another joiner fee. In both Phils and Indonesia, I never ran into that kind of thing, the two worlds have never collided.

Its also possible that she has met a number of foreigners over the years (such as yourself) and has made several trips to meet them in Davao, Cebu, or Manila (regardless of what she told you; she would not mention to her current boyfie her past indiscretions). She might well understand the difference between a nice hotel and other hotels; its not fair to assume one way or the other. Regardless, don't spend bigger to impress her (with hotel quality or security). Interestingly, I find in these situations that both the foreigner and the girl think that they are the protector of the other person.

Airbnb. A number of us have gone to using condo units versus hotels in the past few years. The condos are usually very nice, good door security, and often considerably less per night in cost. Downside: There is no daily room cleaning of bedsheets / towels and such, like in a hotel. Also you can cook in a condo unit's kitchen. In Malate (15 minutes from the airport by taxi, about) I have used several, including Birch Tower and Malate Bayview Mansion. In Makati, I have used Knightsbridge and Milano (and others). I have yet to pay more than $40 USD per night in a condo in Phils, and in my last visits to each of those 4 condos I was under $32 per night. You can also find closer to NAIA at Shell Residences and The Palm Tree Villas.

Have some fun. If you have the girl at the condo for a few days, take her to the grocery store, let her shop for her fav meal, and let her make it for you.

Think wet spot on the bottom sheet, and maybe spread around onto other bedding. A suggestion: pack a towel or two in your luggage and get in the habit of putting it on the bed under the action area. Tell your GF to practice her kegels.

My intention for asking this was not to save on money rather to make sure I don't end up in a hotel which won't allow guests or not get harassed by the authorities. My GF is a pure province girl who even speaks a different dialect apparently and not fluent tagalog. She has never been to manila and was asking me to make sure that both of us can stay peacefully in the hotel. Both of us don't have any idea about manila I RTFF the other forums and apparently philippines is as open as Bangkok! I feel stupid now.

I think I will book a decent one in Makati or near mall of asia.

How is Airbnb? Is it any good. Again thanks a lot guys. Enjoy PHP.
