    Check-in

I'm going to be back in Manila in December. I was thinking about having my girl check in for me so that things are ready when I get there, especially since the place we will stay is near where she stays and has checkin 3-8 pm and I don't arrive until 10 pm. I haven't booked here yet. Is this something that is possible if the place is booked under my name?

My favorite hotel now is New Coast Hotel in Ermita. You can take as many girls to your room as you want. No checking.
    Good to know. Thanks, buddy.

Also has 2 computers to use on that floor. Have your own concierge there also. Hotel offers free shuttle to MOA. Or, can walk across street to little mall with supermarket inside, travel agent inside also. Kenny's chicken is a 2 minute walk. LMK if you have any other questions.
    Much obliged, Mr. Hawaii.

    Hop inn Ermita (Malate)

    Hey folks,

Staying at Hop Inn in Ermita / Malate. Girl friendly and cheaply priced. As mentioned in multiple posts. No need to spend a grip on housing. Make sure your girl have government issued ID (disclaimer only one girl at a time). Walking distance to the hot spots. If you want to spend money, give it to your companion. I know it's your money however 5600-7000 pesos for a room in the Philippines is insane to me. IMO.

    HAPPY MONGERING.

When the conductor collects the toll, kindly ask him to drop you at McDos at Fields. You'll have time to take your lunch at the Paradise Bar before checking in at your preferred hotel.
Good to know. I'll have to remember that the next time I'm going that way.

I may take the Genesis Bus. "Fly the Bus 2*" option would be a great business opportunity for a daring expat. Open a girl friendly dive hotel with breakfast included in Ermita! The Pandemic is over!

Swagman Hotel is shut down. And the Slouch Hat transpo is a private car for 3500. It's not a shuttle bus / van.

The last time there, I took a Grab Taxi to the airport and caught the Genesis Bus to SM Clark in Angeles. Many will tell you to catch one of the real Public Buses in the City, but the Genesis Bus from the airport still has the feel of private service. I hope I explained that right.

If you want the luxury of a 5 start hotel but want the convince of your own room, I suggest you buy a room at a KNOWN love hotel in order to eschew any hassle you may encounter at a more discerning hotel / airbnb.

What I do is buy a reasonable AirBNB that I may or may not register one of my more trusted women to enter the Inner Sanctum.

And then proceed to buy a secondary hotel close to the action where you meet the hoes / hookups that you would not bring home to mama which would most likely be a sogo nearest to your preferred redlight area.

This does add an extra expense but given that you can reserve a strict AirBNB policy room for relatively cheap and live luxuriously as well as have a safe house in the redlight district that is stocked and ready to go as soon as you arrive is what I usually do now days. As staying in girl friendly hotels is not my first choice.

Last month I taxi'd from my Manila condo to T3, then took the Genesis bus (departs hourly from T3) to SM Clark (no stops). Bus cost was about p450. The bus drops in front of SM Clark. Choices at that point to get to your hotel are: Trykes, taxi (minimum p300 to move the car), or walk.

On the return trip to Makati, I took a private car (p3500), with pickup at my AC condo direct to my Manila condo.
