I was in Minks last year and founded some streetwalkers around the Bus Station where the buses leave to Lithuania. This was late of the night and we were driving around the city and taxi driver took us there. Quality was not very good so we decide to pass. Prices were around 30 dollars.

What I can tell you is that the "sugar candy" blahblahblah does not work with Russians and Ukrainians and even less if they have money. They go to Minsk to gamble and have a good time and that includes more or less drinking and loads of nice company. I have been offered girls by Ukrainians in a couple of clubs in BY. Those guys seem to "know" how to talk to "their" women because they speak Russian and most foreigners cannot go further than "devushka babushka Zara McDonalds" (that's me for example.). That is the first thing. The second thing is that men in Eastern Europe have a very brat-like and pretentious attitude that would embarrass plenty of men in Western Europe. But many Eastern European women are used to that (they are also quite pretentious and very annoying with photo-sessions, posing in front of expensive cars or shops, pictures of all kinds in FB, etc) and actually is what they tend to respect, while the average foreigner behaves like a sucker in their opinion (and gets treated like one). It is like Russian comedies or movies on TV. Only Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians like those abominations because they are brought up into that stuff. That attitude leads to success. I have seen Lithuanians in Minsk playing oligarch and it works. And I promise finding an oligarch in Lithuania is not an easy job.

I do not think that ALL women are for sale in Minsk but I am sure that in some clubs and bars at least 50% of them are. And we are talking dinner and / or drinks and a ride home. That you live in a tent, love to chase romantic nymphs and ride the night with 20 euro in your pocket? I am sure you need at least 6 months to get laid in Minsk. That you go there to party like crazy, staying at a nice central apartment or hotel, with the wallet full of dollars even if you do not spend them like water but letting them understand that you could become a regular visitor? I am sure that you can get some.

If to belive international newspapers almost every women is for sale in Minsk. And not few for as much as a drink or dress. Claiming belarus is having one of the fastest P4P growing in the world and attracting many rich russians and ukrainians who loves to gamble at the casinos. I returned from Minsk yesterday. Dozari is a popular upscale club. Its fancy and popular with the girls. I have not had any big sucsess there yet, but thats me. I think some guys might score ther but it seems like most of the girls go there in company and are therefore hard to get. No ripoffs as I know of. Hi, I'm Lithuanian from Vilnius, so Minsk is located just 180 km from my town. Used to go there very often, but now haven't been to Minsk for one year, but doing my visa and going to go there for amazing weekends again. Ussualy going by train to avoid sometimes long queues on the border, it's very comfortable. Oschkosch. I've never lived in a hotel there that's why I don't kwow anything about that, and I would never do that. As my Belarusian friends told me it's much more expensive and everywhere they need a passport (to use internet in a cafe, to buy local sim card) , so I don't even know I I would be able to bring a local girl with me. I think it's much better and cheaper to rent an apartment in the center. There are plenty of them, starting from 50& for two bedrooms decent one, for 80-100$ you would get luxury apartment in best places with jakuzzi and everything you need, and you can do what you, bring as many girls as you want, any time, no passports, or smth. I speak fluent in Russian and think it's important to know some of this language, because not many girls speak English, they don't have many international companies, it's not that popular there, so sometimes you might have a problem have conversation, that's what I've heard from my forein friend, but I might be wrong, because I speak Russian ther and don't care about other languages. Actually, what you are requesting has been spelt out many times before by myself and other posters over the last few years. The first time I went to Minsk I used this forum and had little difficulty. Do what we all had to do and go back and do some reading and research yourself. No one is going to hold your hand.

If you only have a week and feel like going to Minsk, do it. I am sure you will find your way if you really pay attention to things (basically you can hit the sack every night if you go to Next and have some cash).

The car business is another thing. The car you mentioned will not impress anyone in central Minsk, mainly because many local guys drive much better cars. The same applies to Vilnius or Riga. There are more Bentley in Vilnius than in Stockholm, for example. Post-soviet dudes love their wheels and all their incomes go into that currently. And in Europe, in general, people do not "cruise" unless you are a peasant. Focus on your attire much more and use the car as pure transport (if needed).

So I'm planning on going on a trip to Minsk in September but I'm planning to drive there I'm going to leave from Istanbul Turkey drive through Bulgaria stay a couple days drive through Romania stop in Ukraine for a night and stay in Belarus for a week or so now my question is I'm going to be taking my car 2010 BMW m3 Cabrio and well it some what of a nice car and I was just wondering how the roads are and if the people are friendly towards people with nice cars? I'm American I haven't really traveled any in eastern europe and I don't speak any other language but english and a little bit of turkish I'm 23 and will be going alone so do you guys think I will have any trouble along the way? And most importantly of them all where's a good place to cruise around in minsk to pick up some babes now I ain't to big into the club scene so are there other ways to pick up some honeys and how do locals feel about getting into cars with strangers it not like I'm going to be driving around offering candy to these mamas hard cold cash will be in my pocket and hopfully I can share it with some cutie pies.
