I have only been to Minsk once but have many contacts there. Lukashenko is obviously a tyrant, his system is taking an entire country hostage. Contacting girls on location is not too easy, it is advised to make contacts before (through international dating sites for example, even if many great Belarus girls would prefer to meet in Dubai or, little less attractive, Istanbul). Clearly, you have no idea how international aviation operates. The people of Belarus will decide for themselves on a path to better life. The President was the only viable candidate who can guarantee economic and political stability for his country, all without any opposition party with established candidate and program that offered attractive clear alternative. This is only a minor flight incident. The reality is far different from what you see in mass media. For now you have to have 10 days of quarantine if arriving from the countries on the list:

Being on this forum can sometimes be "interesting" as a check on where people from different paths in life source their information from but for my own sanity I can not debate about this. I hope Belarus people soon will have freedom and democracy soon. Until then I hope all flights to Minsk from democratic countries keep being banned.

Lots of talk in fake news media about the Belarus election but none of them show forensically how it was allegedly "rigged". They don't say "this pallot of 250,000 votes showed up at this counting centre at this time without accredited chain of custody". They just say "it was rigged" without showing any evidence. As for "freedom and democracy", what that actually means is mass third world immigration, homosexual parades and child trannies. I hope the people of Belarus never get it and I wish we didn't have it either.

For elections there is always one source of information: the country's official electoral authority. In the US, Al Gore lost against Bush (or take Trump against Biden), as many said it was unfair, undemocratic. But it was official.

The jet was scrambled at the approach to Astravets Nuclear Power Plant after the plane pilots independently made a decision to divert to Minsk with airline's approval. All detailed information has been already released to ICAO. The call with a threat was traced to Switzerland.

The effect was the same. The EU conspired to force a plane to land in its territory. The Morales case was actually worse because it was not just a regular commercial plane but a plane carrying a head of state with diplomatic immunity. Plus Edward Snowden was a whistle-blower who exposed the truth about CIA spying, whereas this guy in Belarus is a CIA agent who tried to overthrow the government. Under the circumstances everyone with a warrant will be detained should a plane have an emergency landing. Either the detained also knew of such possibility or he was used to advance a political motive. Please educate yourselves with the detailed nature of a charge against the detained.
