Ok I'm gonna try to do this before the sleeping pill kicks in with the gin and it's all over for me today.

See my last post. I thought I'd call it a night. In fact, in fighting my urges to go back to that strip joint for some more action I took care of myself instead to save me the trouble of going back. Well I must have some pretty strong shit Viagra, that's all I'lll say about that.

So I walked a few feet down the street here in Rodadero, talked it up with the barmaid and bartender. Both seeming like normal people. But I dunno.

Suddenly this girl Marcela comes in and chats it up with them. Obviously knows them. Then she starts making small talk with me. Well then my little head got kicked back into gear (gee and after all that talk about only once a day! ) and I couldn't stop staring at her miniskirt legs, and they know guys, you may think you're being cool but they ALWAYS know when you're looking and lusting.Even the young ones, but I ain't even going there tonight.

So I seriously said I was hungry and all of a sudden Marcella was going to get in a cab with me to get something to eat. I didn't want to spend the time or the hassle, so I declined, then she just straight offered me her company for 100K, I countered with 80K and we had a deal. My hotel was three buildings away.

I'm sorry to say that while she was genuinely nice and sweet she didn't have a clue what to do in bed (e. G. Please a Man). And it's not for lack of experience, or at least shouldn´t be. But there were hookers alll over the beach boardwalk, lots of them. So again I say to you who have said this is not a mongering destination you really need to come back now. Puts Cartagena to shame, and it feels like Brazil with it being so available 24/7 (well, sort of).

Needless to say I like it here. I feel like Colombus, discovering the New World. And these girls almost never see gringos, so besides all the money shit they just love our blond hair blue eyed look (Of course I got my hair colored and blue contacts before coming, but don't laugh. The shit works.)

Now I got in at noon, had sex two times today and got three more invitations for tomorrow. Life is good.

Contary to some reports I´ve read - I´ve only been here less than one day so far and I´ve had more opportunities (all pro/semi-pro) than Kellog´s has flakes.

Nothing, as far as I can tell here in Rodadero. But I´m determined to find something here. So I got this Big Mac Attack and had a taxi take me to McDonalds, which was kind of out of the way, but near a strip club with a starting price of 110K. I forgot the name because I´ll never need it, sorry.

From there I went to La Bahia (sp?), the seaside malecon-like street in Santa Marta proper. The taxi driver told me to go to Calle 10 for street action. I wasn´t even near Calle 10 when this 28 year-old beauty passes my way and gives me the look. Ten minutes later we were in a nearby sleazebag hotel - I love it! 50K for her, 20K for the room. I know, I overpaid but I didn´t care. Sorry but my time spent hassling is worth more than the few bucks I might save these days.

We get there and since she´s not too anxious to get in we sit and chat at a cafe next door. She introduced me to the bouncer and several of the girls who came outside for some air. There are plenty of lanchas along the beach that will take you anywhere you want.

Mostly along the east end of Rodadero Beach.

Just like you mentioned Beavis, it was very easy to find an apartment. The taxi driver at the airport took me to Rodadero where he had a friend renting apartments. At just about every corner by the beach I saw people holding signs offering apartment rentals. During the last half of July the apartment prices drop. Also like you, I probably saw less than 10 gringos in the whole 15 days I was there. You were right on the money on everything you wrote.

Of course, before I go about renting an apartment or hotel room I want to know what the action is like in SM, for both P4P and "non-pro" action. Can anyone advise me? Or is this just a place that you should only go to if you can bring a chica with you from somewhere else?

If you speak Spanish and have some game you will do O.K. but SM is not a place where you will find the streets swarming with girls looking for gringos as there are no gringos there. If the P4P is your game Santa Marta isn't the place. Only a few so-so ones on the main streets after 10 p.m.

I've been researching for a place to stay with my col. gf the last few days and i found it quite a pain in the ass to plan ahead thru the internet. Most of the places listed have no prices or pictures and/or are booked during the high season. I found the following websites:

I know places in Centro tend to be runned down and cheaper, but looking at those pictures it seems quite all right for my taste, specially price wise. Anyone know anything about this place?

Don't even bother with the net for Santa Marta. Just show up and you will be able to find an apartment. SM is a Colombian tourists destination. I was there 17 days and saw maybe 5 gringos.
