I don't imagine T. J. Has changed much. I have been there several times, but nothing recent. If anything it's probably gotten worse with the reported 2-3 hour border crossing times (spare me their VIP card, you have to have them look up your a** to get one, give up your privacy). Also the crime rate in T. J. Lately from all reports has skyrocketed. It was never safe, but it's worse now.

Some guys like T. J. I don't know why? It's full of Mexican SoCal types who would just as soon put a shiv in your back as give you directions to El Bano. Greater group of Mexican aholes I have never seen concentrated in one place.

I can't agree with you more. These bars are complete clip joints. Yet gringos continue to allow the ripoff to occur. From the BS dude that charges 7 dollars for an entrance beer to the constant meseros pushing chips or checking the girls beer. 8 dollars for a ficha beer. The streetwalkers are overpriced and the experience is like from a vending machine. Who ever heard of WG in other countries charging extra for removing their clothes? Total BS and a ripoff.

I use to party all over Mexico and pick up girls off the street that were not your usual streetwalkers, but that was when I was young and more handsome than now. They are OK, they are better in bed than most poor Filipinas, imo. Certainly they can look better with actual breasts, but many are too fat to look at.

Hotel prices are ridiculous for Mexico as are cab fares and cabbies are often dishonest.

Mexico does have nicer beaches than P. I. But not near T. J.

Much better places in Mexico to go than T. J. Places that are not anti-gringo and not hostile / aggressive, more friendly.

I guess Tijuana is ok if you're on a budget and have to get back to work on Monday. The clubs there are total clip joints with ridiculously high prices and scams. If you're going to pay for a lap dance, why not just watch a porn and stay at home?

Ditto their scam "lady drinks" at $6 a shot. They are crazy. The only times I ever went in one of those clip joints was when they waived the cover and just for amusement to see how the girls think they snatch is made out of gold.

Best strategy is to get some basic Spanish and just approach girls who make eye contact with you on the street. Make sure they don't have p*mps or handlers though, that's a red flag. They often come from other towns (better) and need cash now.

Tijuana does seem to have some of the ugliest latinas. Higher then Gringas who knows? I mean in san Diego I see hotter latinas white and black girls. TJ is what it is. Over the decade, I have found a few nice ones. It's good quickie for locals. But better attitudes and bargains can be found elswhere on this planet. My favorite is South America. Good hunting.

That's bs Ive been to Europe.... Its affordable compared to elsewhere and I don't have a thing for Asians, no special trip to Thailand or PI, further down on the list of things to do, right after Central America, South American and return to Western and Eastern Europe.
