Just as I'm paying for the room and getting my towels, I confirm the part of the deal that concerns the time, basically I reaffirm its ½ hour. Then I pull out my phone and state the time in front of the gal and the guy at the desk. This lets them know that I’m not going to let the clean up guys or the girl cut my time short. It works quite well.

Never trust a tout, policeman, bargirl, streetgirl, bartender, waiter, waitress, shoe-shiner, taxi driver, hotel operator, and especially don't ever trust a tatted up mexican guy who speaks perfect english. People criticize TJ a lot. Especially white Americans from my experience. They don't realize the US is the biggest factor of why TJ is what it is. The US tourists made it into the cesspool that you see. And it's because that's what they want of TJ. It's like the dirty alley behind your house that everyone goes to [CodeWord140] in and barf at. If it wasn't this, then US tourists would stop going. Cheap meds, drug trafficking, prostitutes. And what's it all for? The US tourist.

I have been monitoring this site for years. In the Tijuana section Country John is well respected. I have noticed how much you also respect him. For all you guys that can only travel to TJ i can tell you that TJ has plenty of hot chicas.I know because i have been in Costa Rica and Colombia this year and the hottest chicas in TJ would do fine in both places.

Ok, well everyone is going to tijuana I guess for cheap gas, I heard it is like 2. 32 a gallon in dirty tijuana, cool. The women are also pretty cheap.
