I agree we need to check the rates. Somehow this phenomenon is not understood. From the point of view of demand and supply it makes sense that rates are very high. However the city seems to be a haven for these activities and the SP is getting a free run I assume with some connivance of the LE that's how the business is flourishing. Hotels are friendly and good ones also do not ask questions as long as you produce ID. The atmosphere is conducive. But then the same could be said about Mumbai and Delhi. How is it that the rates are so different.
