Because of my upcoming visit to Pune and the buildup of excitement, (especially thanks to Vivkum48 and Stungun whose references promise to make my visit truly fruitful) I have been exploring Pune on Google maps.

Just then I realised I may have some info which is related to the mongering scene.

I am referring to my visit to Pune in 2008-9.

Had attended A conference at MITCON institute of management, balewadi. This along the bombay-Pune highway.

Me and my frnd started searching for a hotel to stay and ended up at this place further down the highway (direction towards Mumbai). I. E. If while driving from Pune to Mumbai, one passes this major banner junction and some sadanand hotel on right. Drive further and on right at a distance is mitcon. Drive just as much distance and there is this hotel (I don't remember name, but Google maps shows it as sadanand regency). Right next to it Google shows. National securities depository. This road further crosses some river.

So we took a room, went for conference and came back in evening. The rooms were basic and damp. Interestingly we found long hair on the bed, bedsheets, of a girl obviously. While we joked then, it is obvious to think of that it was a joint for fun activity. Especially since all thru the evening and late nigh the place was active. And unbelievably they put on blaring music facing the road from 11 pm onwards till good knows 1-2 am.

Hello friends,
