This is actually the second time I've seen this scam over the past couple of years.

I happen to be in a smaller city in Jiangxi and have found that the working girls here are, shall we say, rather mature and well past their prime.

It happens that I can read Chinese, and so I looked on some internet websites and found a massage service. There were some things that were immediately wrong, when I made the call.

1. The phone number was located in Beijing (many hours away from Jiangxi by train).

2. They were not willing to send text messages to tell me how to book a girl or to tell the address.

3. They wanted a "membership fee" up front and were very willing to give me their banking information.

4. They didn't comment on the fact that I speak Chinese with a foreign accent. (Which means they are desperate for money. I usually have to pretend to be a Korean on the phone.)

So, I let the woman make her spiel and then just hung up the phone.

Cost: 0.2RMB (give or take) for the phone call to find out that they were rip off artists.

Great to see you still around the forum my friend. My point is that the hottest, Chinese girls do not need a career, thus no need to learn English. I have trolled the English language meetings looking for freebies, (good source BTW) where you can find a lot of students and career minded but I have never seen a real stunner.

Good time now to start looking for somewhere for semester 2, there are a number of job sites and a look at the SAFEA website for some good info. China hot jobs is a site I use sometimes and includes both education and industrial sector jobs.

If you have not lived in China for any length of time then you will have to check which cities meet your expectations, for me the only problem is pollution so best to check that. Weather can also be a problem if you come from warmer climes especially in Northern China, last winter in Changchun was minus 35 before chill factor.

I heard the average comp at American School Guangzhou is around $55k / year but the lesser known schools pay far less. That said, most say Japan / Taiwan are better. The high quality Chinese women do not speak English and do not have the reason or desire to learn it. There are plenty of local and overseas Chinese punters willing to support them.

Though I prefer Taiwan / Japan, I am willing to go to China, particularly a big city. I dated many Chinese nationals during my sucker days in graduate science programs. They're not the be-all like Japanese women, but they can be quality. I'm fit and no stranger to Asian women and picking-up in East Asia.

If I may add, it is very important to negotiate hard with an in-room hotel girl. They always start with some crazy price. Don't be afraid to offer a crazy low price. You should note that they make very, very little, if anything at all, if you don't go for the extra service. If you just pretend that you only want the massage, and they believe you, it helps. That said, it is difficult to convey that message with a throbbing hardon sticking up.

Since the in-house operator takes a big cut and has to pay the hotel, it is better if you can find an outside BBS near the hotel. You can still find these in many secondary cities around China, especially near the 3-4 star hotels.
